While Simsboro, Madison Prep, Port Allen, and Zachary were repeat champions, new and returning champions were crowned. North Central, Carver, and Gibsland-Coleman were the teams that took home hardware for their schools. During the championship games, each team had players who had noteworthy performances. Dezmond Perkins Dezmond Perkins 6'5" | SG Madison Prep | 2022 State LA (Madison Prep) - Named Class 3A MOP; scored 21 points during the 3A championship victory for the Chargers

Solomon Washington Solomon Washington Solomon Washington 6'7" | SF Carver | 2022 State #127 Nation LA (Carver) - Named Class 4A MOP; was one assist short of a triple-double during the Carver title win

Laurence Nathan Laurence Nathan 6'2" | PG Carver | 2024 State LA (Carver) - Nathan scored 17 points and nabbed two steals during Carver’s 4A championship victory.  

Kohen Rowbatham Kohen Rowbatham Kohen Rowbatham 6'1" | CG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State LA (Northshore) - Rowbatham finished the 5A title game with 15 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals.  

Jalan Washington Jalan Washington Jalan Washington 6'1" | CG White Castle | 2023 State LA (White Castle) - The junior guard scored 14 points and pulled down 7 boards in the 1A title game loss to North Central
