However, coming out of the locker room Cheltenham took their defensive efforts to another level and Plymouth Whitemarsh failed to score a bucket in that third quarter. Cheltenham's suffocating second half defense allowed them to open a ten-point lead and they never looked back, winning 52-40.

Below is a review of the prospects who impressed from the Plymouth Whitemarsh versus Cheltenham District 1-6A quarter final playoff game.

Plymouth Whitemarsh

Marshall Baker – 6'2” / Senior / Shooting Guard: Baker can slash to the basket for a lay-in or to unleash his smooth floater. He owns solid shooting mechanics with range out to the 3-point line. He is also an excellent disruptor on defense. Baker scored 9 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="1188211" first="Qudire" last="Bennett"] – 6'5” / Junior / L&L Running Rebels / Small Forward: Bennett is an extremely impressive prospect who scored 26 points (3 threes) and grabbed 8 rebounds in PW's District playoff opening round upset of Downingtown West. His versatility is something college coaches will love. Bennett is comfortable playing at the 1 through 4 spots and can splash threes from anywhere on the floor. He also does excellent work on the glass at both ends. Bennett posted 13 points in this loss.

[player_tooltip player_id="1116013" first="Jaden" last="Colzie"] – 6'0” / Sophomore / NJ Scholars Elite / Point Guard: Colzie is an elite floor general who has been our radar for two years. He does a tremendous job of controlling the tempo and running the team sets.

Zende Hubbard – 6'1” / Senior / Plymouth Heat / Combo Guard: Hubbard was the leading scorer for PW with 16 points. He turned heads with his outstanding ability to score off the dribble via lay-ins as well as stop and pop jumpers. Hubbard excels in transition too.

Cheltenham

Brandon Bush – 6'2” / Senior / Wolfpack / Wing: Bush is a phenomenal athlete who can get out in transition and finish with authority. He moves well off the ball, so he is frequently open for easy baskets on the interior. Bush (14 points) capitalized on second chance opportunities even when there was significant contact. His quick second jump is a unique aspect of his rebounding game.

Rasheem Dearry – 6'3” / Senior / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] / Wing: Dearry posted a 17 & 10 double-double in SOL championship game and he quickly found his scoring touch last night. He knocked down 3 triples on his way to 15 points overall. In addition to hitting threes, Dearry scored in the mid-range and at the rim. He rebounds well and is a tenacious on-ball defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="1379428" first="Josiah" last="Hutson"] – 5'9” / Freshman / Hunting Park Warriors / Point Guard: This freshman starter made a name for himself by posting several 20+ point games this season. He is true a scoring lead guard with tremendous quickness and elusive handles. As a bonus, his jumper has deep range. Last night Hutson (12 points; 2 threes) also displayed that he could facilitate for his teammates. He recognized that Dearry had the hot hand and kept feeding him the rock.

Justin Savage – 6'3” / Senior / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] / Combo Guard: Savage (3 points) is a fantastic athlete who can play both backcourt spots. He is a slashing style guard. Savage's length and quickness are huge factors on the defensive end as he can guard multiple positions and frequently deflects, or steals passes.
