<p>We are down to the Elite 8 across South Florida.</p>
<p>Let’s take a look at some standouts during Sweet 16 play.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="829398" first="Ryan" last="Davis"] - Martin County</p>
<p>2022 [player_tooltip player_id="829398" first="Ryan" last="Davis"] and Martin County secured a big victory against Dwyer. The 6-foot-5 forward scored 22 points in the 68-65 victory to advance to Friday’s matchup against Pembroke Pines Charter. The Nova Southeastern commit has led Martin County in scoring in every game this post season (four games). Against Dillard (2/17), Davis had 15 points and ten boards. Per information, he is averaging 15.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game while shooting 45 percent from the field. Davis has been tough and clutch during this playoff run for Martin County.</p>
<p>Calvin Sirmans - Lake Worth</p>
<p>2023 Calvin Sirmans scored a team-high 23 points to lead Lake Worth past Forest Hill. The 5-foot-8 point guard has led the Trojans in all four of its games this post season. Per information, Sirmans is averaging a team-best 15.4 points and 5.6 assists per game. 2024 Hedrens Bartelus scored all of his 18 points in the first half. The 6-foot-5 forward came into the night averaging 4.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.</p>
<p>Adrian Delgado - Belen Jesuit</p>
<p>2022 Adrian Delgado scored 17 of the Wolverines’ 36 points against Stranahan. The 6-foot guard played well this season while helping Belen Jesuit to a 19-7 record. Per information, Delgado shot 49 percent from the field and averaged 13.5 points per game. He also made 47 3-pointers and three or more in eight games.</p>
<p>Blake Wilson - Dwyer</p>
<p>2023 Blake Wilson scored 17 points in Dwyer’s loss to Martin County. The 6-foot-5 wing was efficient and scored from all levels on the floor. Per information, Wilson hit three or more 3-pointers in 10 games this season. He is also a good student with a 3.75 GPA.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1065416" first="Adefemi" last="Akinwole"] - Miami Norland</p>
<p>2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1065416" first="Adefemi" last="Akinwole"] scored eight of his 10 points in the fourth quarter to help the Vikings beat Miami Northwestern. The 6-foot-1 guard was clutch from the free-throw line with six makes on seven attempts.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="709247" first="PJ" last="Paulk"] - Miami Northwestern</p>
<p>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="709247" first="PJ" last="Paulk"] showed out against the Vikings with 22 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the floor. The 6-foot-2 guard also grabbed seven boards and dished out four assists. Paulk scored in double-figures in 18 of 21 games this season. Overall, he averaged 15.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Paulk is also a fantastic football player.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="829396" first="Geoffrey" last="Sprouse"] - Pembroke Pines Charter</p>
<p>2022 [player_tooltip player_id="829396" first="Geoffrey" last="Sprouse"] scored 20 points to help lead Pembroke Pines Charter past St. Thomas Aquinas. The 6-foot-2 guard was one of four double-figure scorers for the Jaguars. Sprouse came into the game averaging over 14 points per game across 26 contests. 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="829389" first="Elijah" last="Wyche"] added 18 points while 2022’s [player_tooltip player_id="1065434" first="Caelum" last="Ethridge"] and [player_tooltip player_id="955774" first="Kolby" last="King"] chipped in with 14 points each. Pembroke Pines Charter has one of the best senior cores in the state with experience as state champions. </p>
