[player_tooltip player_id="1076693" first="Joren" last="Mirabal"] scored 23 points on 9/15 shooting from the field, shot 5/10 from three point range and dished out 8 assists. This season Joren has averaged 26.2 points per game and 5.4 assists per game while leading Magdalena to a 25-1 record this season. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076700" first="Exodus" last="Ayers"]-</span> 6’3 Point Guard "La Cueva" Class of 2023</p> <p>La Cueva defeated Eldorado 76-49 this past Thursday February 17th. [player_tooltip player_id="1076700" first="Exodus" last="Ayers"] scored 19 points on 7/13 shooting from the field,  grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 6 assists. Exodus is averaging 16.8 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game and 4.5 assists per game. La Cueva is 21-3 this season.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076675" first="Jakwon" last="Hill"]-</span> 6’0 Shooting Guard "Volcano Vista" Class of 2022</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1076675" first="Jakwon" last="Hill"] led Volcano Vista to a 63-40 win vs Atrisco Heritage this past Friday February 18th. [player_tooltip player_id="1076675" first="Jakwon" last="Hill"] scored a game high 20 points and made 3 three-pointers in the teams victory. Volcano Vista is now 24-0 this season. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076677" first="Jose" last="Murillo"]-</span> 6’9 Center "Highland" Class of 2022</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1076677" first="Jose" last="Murillo"] recorded a double-double in Highlands 69-55 victory vs Del Norte. He scored 25 points on 8/12 shooting from the field, shot 9/12 from the free throw line and grabbed 18 rebounds. This season Jose is averaging 21.7 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076692" first="Santiago" last="Rivas"]-</span> 5’9 Guard "Escalante" Class of 2022</p> <p>Guard [player_tooltip player_id="1076692" first="Santiago" last="Rivas"] scored 19 points on 6/13 shooting from the field, shot 3/7 from three , and went a perfect 4/4 from the free throw line. Escalante defeated McCurdy 51-48 this past Saturday February 19th. Escalante is 19-5 this season.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076702" first="Shane" last="Douma-Sanchez"]-</span> 6’1 Guard "Del Norte" Class of 2023</p> <p>Despite the loss to Hope Christian this past Tuesday February 15th, [player_tooltip player_id="1076702" first="Shane" last="Douma-Sanchez"] scored a season high 34 points on 13/26 shooting, shot 5/12 from three and dished 4 assists. This season Shane is averaging 19.0 points per game and 4.8 assists per game. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076724" first="Alexis" last="Dominguez"]-</span> 5’9 Point Guard "Highland" Class of 2023</p> <p>Highland defeated Grants 85-53 this past this past Tuesday February 15th. Alexis flirted with a triple double with an all around game scoring 20 points, grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing 8 assists. Alexis is averaging 13.2 points per game and 4.9 assists for Highland who is 21-3 this season. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Noah Gershon-</span> 5’9 Guard "Clovis Christian" Class of 2023</p> <p>Noah Gershon had an excellent performance this past Friday February 18th. Noah scored 31 points on 11/24 shooting from the field and shot 8/17 from three point range. This season Noah is averaging 17.1 points per game. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1299398" first="Anthony" last="Alvez"]-</span> 5’11 Forward "Capital" Class of 2022</p> <p>Despite the loss to Santa Fe this past Tuesday February 15th, [player_tooltip player_id="1299398" first="Anthony" last="Alvez"] scored a team high 25 points on 10/16 shooting from the field and shot 4/4 from the free throw line. This season Anthony is averaging 18.5 points per game which is in the top 20 in New Mexico. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1202922" first="Jeven" last="Beltran"]-</span> 5’11 Shooting Guard "Centennial" Class of 2022</p> <p>Centennial defeated Gadsden 89-59 this past Friday February 18th. Jeven scored 27 points on 12/20 shooting from the field and grabbed 4 rebounds. Jeven is averaging 17.7 points per game this season. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Isaiah Maldonado-</span> 5’7 Shooting Guard "Albuquerque" Class of 2024</p> <p>Sophomore Isaiah Maldonado scored 20 points vs Manzano this past Thursday February 17th. Albuquerque defeated Manzano 63-58 and this was the teams third straight district win. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">D’Shaun Vinyard-</span> 6’0 Forward "Magdalena" Class of 2023</p> <p>Magdalena defeated Mountainair 90-22 this past Thursday February 17th. He scored 26 points on 12/17 shooting from the field and dished out 7 assists. This season he is averaging 16.7 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076671" first="Bruce" last="Brewer Jr"].-</span> 5’11 Point Guard "New Mexico School For Deaf" Class of of 2022</p> <p>This past Wednesday February 16th, Bruce led his school to a 60-42 win vs Jemez Valley. Bruce scored 36 points on 17/29 shooting from the field , had a double-double grabbing 13 rebounds and dished out 7 assists. This season he leads the New Mexico in scoring averaging 28.8 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1176298" first="Jalin" last="Holland"]-</span> 6’1 Guard "Los Lunas" Class of 2025</p> <p>Freshman star [player_tooltip player_id="1176298" first="Jalin" last="Holland"] led the way this past Friday February 18th. He scored a team high 28 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 70-59 win vs Albuquerque. Los Lunas is now 18-8 this season and clinched the 5A-District 5 Title. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Jamian Perez-</span> 6'2 Shooting Guard "Los Lunas" Class of 2022</p> <p>Jamian Perez helped Los Lunas defeat Albuquerque 70-29 this past Friday February 18th. Jamian scored 23 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in the Los Lunas victory. Los Lunas is now 18-8 this season and clinched the 5A-District 5 Title. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Elijah Romero-</span> 5'9 Guard "Belen" Class of 2023</p> <p>Friday February 18th, Belen defeated Grants 58-47 behind Elijah Romero's 14 points. Belen improved to 15-10 this season and 4-4 in district play. </p>
