MAAA Tournament: Class of 2022 Standouts

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top Class of 2022 standouts from last weekend’s Final Four of the MAAA Tournament in Park Hills.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/69-Rudy-Flieg.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1314658" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/69-Rudy-Flieg-262x300.jpg" alt="" width="262" height="300" /></a></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1201896" first="Rudy" last="Flieg"] (Ste. Genevieve): The 6'4" forward was a consistent force around the basket in helping lead the Dragons to the tournament championship. He scored 10 points in the championship game against North County and he averages a near double-double for the season. He can score inside and he can also step out and hit the medium range jumper. He is also an excellent passer who dropped a few nice dimes to back-door cutters.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Bracey Blanton (Farmington): The 5'9" guard scored a team-high 15 points in the third-place game against Park Hills Central. He displayed his 3-point shooting chops with four triples on the evening. He got the Knights off to an early advantage with three consecutive 3-pointers to start the game. He shoots it well off the catch and coming off screens.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/75-JP-Ruble.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1314650" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/75-JP-Ruble-280x300.jpg" alt="" width="280" height="300" /></a></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1180563" first="Jp" last="Ruble"] (Farmington): The 5'9" guard scored 11 points in the third-place game against Park Hills Central. He has excellent quickness and he likes to play with pace in the open court. His float game in the lane was very impressive and he could shoot the 3-pointer off the dribble.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/60-Hunter-Cole.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1314661" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/10/60-Hunter-Cole-287x300.jpg" alt="" width="287" height="300" /></a></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1315417" first="hunter" last="cole"] (Farmington): A 6'4" forward who had seven points and 10 rebounds in the third-place game against Park Hills Central. He's very effective around the basket as a scorer and rebounder and he will also attack off the dribble from the perimeter. He can also knock down the baseline jumper.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Grant Mannion (Park Hills Central): The 6'0" guard scored eight points and played a solid all-around game in the Rebels victory over Farmington in the third-place game. He plays more of a forward role on a small team full of guards and he gets by with his athleticism, length and a strong motor. </p>
