Deuce Jones Deuce Jones 6'1" | PG College Achieve | 2024 State #221 Nation NJ , 6’3 PG Trenton Catholic 2024
The Iron Mikes are looking to defend their Mercer County Tournament title and Jones is the guy that runs the show. The 6’3 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to get by his defender and finish around the rim. Jones has a smooth shooting stroke and shoots the ball with confidence from distance. He is a strong rebounder and has a good chemistry with Jamaal and Jameel Morris in the backcourt. Jones is a talented point guard prospect who is set to have a big Mercer County Tournament.
Brian Herbert Brian Herbert 6'3" | SG Robbinsville | 2022 State NJ , 6’3 SG Robbinsville 2022
Herbert has been playing at a high level for the Ravens all season and should continue it in the county tournament. The Catholic commit has a quick release on his jumper and is capable of knocking down jumpers in bunches. Herbert is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He is a playmaker on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Herbert has the potential for a big county tournament due to his ability to knock down shots from distance.
Ayden Hogan Ayden Hogan 6'2" | SG Hightstown | 2022 State NJ , 6’2 SG Hightstown 2022
The Rams were the top seed in the last Mercer County Tournament and they are looking to get to the championship game behind Hogan. The 6’2 guard is a sniper from distance as he has 10 games with at least four made triples. Hogan moves exceptionally well off the ball, creating open layups and jumpers for himself. He is a good rebounder and gets deflections on the defensive end. Hogan’s combination of shooting and defense is something that will help Hightstown out in a big way this county tournament.
Quiyon McMillon Quiyon McMillon 6'1" | CG Nottingham | 2023 NJ , 6’1 CG Nottingham 2023
The Northstars are looking to return to the county tournament title game and McMillon is looking to lead them back. The 6’1 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he is a good finisher and does not mind drawing contact. McMillon McMillon can also score in the midrange and is capable of hitting open jumpers from the perimeter. He is a good on-ball defender and skies for rebounders at both ends of the floor. McMillon is a physical two-way guard prospect who is set to have a good county tournament for Nottingham.
Maurice Williams, 5’10 PG Hamilton West 2022
Williams has been the catalyst for the Hornets all season long at both ends of the floor and it should continue at the Mercer County Tournament. The 5’10 guard has a quick release on his jumper and is capable of getting hot in a hurry. Williams is more than just a shooter as he has a good handle and is capable of finishing through contact. He knows how to get his teammates involved in the half court and plays with quick hands on the defensive end. Williams has scored at least 20 points in his last 5 games and is looking to continue his streak in the county tournament.
