<li><strong>Mojave</strong> (LW) #2 Week 3-0 Season 16-6 Next Doral Academy –The Rattlers look like a focused team. They dispatched division foe Silverado 76-63 and stand undefeated in the lake conference. [player_tooltip player_id="1268866" first="CJ" last="Shaw"] looks like the favorite for freshman of the year honors, averaging over 16ppg. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id="985628" first="Giali" last="Chapman"] who was recently featured as one of the <a href="https://prephoops.com/2022/02/bruces-best-4a-key-role-players/">key role players in 4A</a> finished with 14 in the win over Silverado. </li>
<li><strong>Spring Valley</strong> (LW) #4 Week 2-0 Season 11-6 Next Eldorado –The Grizzlies look like a problem, they blasted #5 Sierra Vista who was previously undefeated in the division. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id="986798" first="Alijah" last="Adem"] has been brilliant, all season, but he had help from senior forward [player_tooltip player_id="1137209" first="Desean" last="Moreno"] who finished with 16 in the win vs Sierra Vista.</li>
<li><strong>Sierra Vista </strong>(LW) #5 Week 2-1 – Season 13-6 Next Cheyenne – The Mountain Lions went 2-1 last week. They sit 5-1 in the tough Desert Divison. They look to get back on the winning track in a huge divisional matchup against Cheyenne. </li>
<li><strong>Las Vegas</strong> (LW) #7 Week 3-0 Season 14-7 Next vs Western – The Wildcats picked up three victories last week, and now sit at 5-2 in the division. They face Western, before a monster matchup against Mojave to end the season. [player_tooltip player_id="1345415" first="Jordan" last="Massey"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1345414" first="Marcus" last="Gomez"] scored in double digits in the win over Doral. </li>
<li><strong>Cheyenne</strong> (LW) #6 Week 1-2 Season 12-8 Next Sierra Vista – Cheyenne picked up two victories this week and currently sit at 3rd in the Desert division. They get ready for a huge matchup against Sierra Vista this week. The big three [player_tooltip player_id="800966" first="Andrick" last="Santillan"], [player_tooltip player_id="859657" first="Donavon" last="Webster"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1338397" first="David" last="Tinner"] lead the team, but PG [player_tooltip player_id="985641" first="Christopher" last="Rodriguez"] is the steady hand that runs the ship, he leads the team with 3 assists per game. </li>
<li><b>Legacy </b>(LW) #6 Week 3-0 Season 13-9 Next vs Valley – Very quietly the Longhorns sit at 5-1 in the mountain division. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id="1285970" first="Antonio" last="Burns"] has turned in an all freshmen type year averaging nearly 14ppg. </li>
<li><strong>Silverado</strong> (LW) #3 Week 1-2 Season 12-6 Next vs Western– Skyhawks sandwiched a win between two division defeats. They look to get back on the winning track against Western. </li>
<li><strong>Valley</strong> (LW) #9 Week 1-1 Season 10-5 Next Legacy –The Vikings split last week. Despite the defeat to Bonanza, freshman [player_tooltip player_id="1235060" first="Kevan" last="Wilkins"] went off scoring 32 points. </li>
<li><b>Cimarron </b>(LW) UR Week 2-1 Season 11-9 Next Sunrise Mountain – The Spartans are undefeated in the division and have clinched a 1st round bye. They have good senior leadership, with the trio of Kiante Atchinson, [player_tooltip player_id="859654" first="Miles" last="Mitchell"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1020764" first="Donte" last="Turner"]. </li>
