<p>Atop the 3A rankings are teams led by some of the best of the 2022 class. Here are the top-ranked players from these 3A clubs, players who may be on a collision course come playoff time:</p>
<p>19 [player_tooltip player_id="891912" first="Nahcs" last="Wahwassuck"], 6-foot-5 guard, 2022, Royal Valley:</p>
<p>Royal Valley was going to be really good even if Wahwassuck didn’t return from a prep school and regain his eligibility. But with him, watch out. The Panthers are riding a group of seniors at the top of the KABC 3A rankings. Wahwassuck is the long, athletic distributor who makes this team explosive.</p>
<p>25 [player_tooltip player_id="891932" first="Cason" last="Richardson"], 6-foot-1 guard, 2022. Hesston:</p>
<p>Ranked third currently, the Swathers lone-defeat came at the hands of 2A rival Hillsboro. Recently they put a whooping on ranked 4A teams Buhler and Pratt. The defending state champs got along just fine while Richardson rehabbed a summer injury. He’s back and ready to make another push at the title. He is committed to play at Baker.</p>
<p>30 [player_tooltip player_id="1076403" first="Brett" last="Sarwinski"], 5-foot-10 guard, 2022, Galena:</p>
<p>The multi-sport star recently went over 1,000 points and was named to the Shrine Bowl. He’s on a mission to get fourth-ranked Galena that basketball title. Their only loss is to 3A Frontenac, who will also make some noise. The two lock up again this Tuesday.</p>
<p>31 [player_tooltip player_id="1075928" first="Harrison" last="Voth"], 6-foot-1 guard, 2022, Cheney:</p>
<p>Cheney is 17-0. Nothing more really needs to be said. Ranked second in 3A, Cheney has a pretty impressive list of wins. Like Sarwinski, the Cardinals’ star quarterback recently went over 1,000 points for his career.</p>
<p>44 [player_tooltip player_id="1139910" first="Cooper" last="Autry"], 6-foot-5 guard, 2022, Holcomb (pictured):</p>
<p>The Longhorns’ brilliant shooter has been really solid, leading Holcomb to the seventh spot in the rankings. Their only losses are to high-quality foes Garden City, Hillsboro and Hugoton.</p>
