Top 3 Point Shooters- Treasure Coast

<p>This area has some of the best guards in the state and below we will take a look at the top 3 point shooters in the area ranked by shooting percentage. These shooters can get hot in a hurry and can hit consistently from behind the arc. Their hard work and endless hours in the gym are a testament to their shooting ability when it counts!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1295936" first="Damon" last="Folds"] 2024 - Morningside Academy - Damon is currently shooting 56% from beyond the arc and has been one of the most consistent shooters all season long for his team. The sophomore combo guard is also Top 5 overall for shooting percentage regardless of class in Florida. Damon has been a key contributor to his team all season long and has played a big part in his teams current record 18-3 and #1 seed in their upcoming district tournament. </p> <p>Damon Leigh  2022 - Morningside Academy - Damon who is amongst one of the best players in the area is also one of the best shooters in the state currently at 56% beyond the arc. Damon is averaging over 25 points per game and can hurt you from all areas on the court. Damon has deep range for a guard so you can’t give him too much space or he will make you pay. This 2022 standout will be in contention for player of the year.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1301752" first="Christian" last="Maxon"] 2025 Fort Pierce Central - Christian is currently shooting 50% from the three point line and is currently the best shooting guard in the 2025 class in Florida. This young man has been averaging over 16 points a game as a freshman and has been the MVP of his team thus far this season. Christian can score at will and does a great job moving without the ball. He is very good at coming off tight screens to get his shot off and has a quick release. You will continue to hear a lot about this young man as his high school career continues. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1310899" first="Darious" last="Moore"] 2023 - Morningside Academy - Darious is having a great season averaging 13 points a game with most of that production coming from beyond the arc. Darious is currently at 51%shooting percentage on 3’s and has been consistent this season. It is no surprise that Morningside has all 3 of their guards on this list and a 18-3 record as well as a #1 seed in the upcoming district tournament. </p> <p>Ty Owens 2023 - St Lucie West Centennial High School - Ty who is in consideration for player of the year is also one of the best shooters in the area. Currently at 45% Ty has a consistent overall style of play and is one of the best scorers in the area. Ty is a handful for the other team to match up against and has led his team to one of the best seasons they have ever had.
