After a terrific sophomore season, a number of great players have emerged from the class of 2024 who were previously unranked. Many of these players made a name for themselves this past season thanks to new roles or opportunities within their teams. Continue reading for a look at some new additions to the 2024 rankings update in Idaho.

[player_tooltip player_id="1358300" first="Jason" last="Koval"], Riverstone International: Jason is a solid point guard for Riverstone who knows how to take care of the ball and is one of the key pieces of their offense. Koval will look to use the offseason to help him expand his skills in all areas while also building strength and size.

[player_tooltip player_id="1373870" first="Ryan" last="Gongora"], Cole Valley Christian: Ryan is a pass first point guard who has shown the ability to really run the offense at Cole Valley while also being a source of some much needed shooting from downtown. Gongora has a bright future ahead of him and will look to make sure that he improves his efficiency for next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378467" first="Ethan" last="Howard"], Clark Fork: Ethan has played a big role at Clark Fork again this season and has used his size and strength to help make him a difficult matchup for opposing defenders. Howard has a really smooth jump shot and can also bully his way to the basket to score over smaller defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378464" first="Julian" last="Bowie"], Pocatello: Bowie made a name for himself this season and has already picked up a couple of college offers at this point. Julian has great size for his position and is already showing that he can lead his team in all statistical categories whenever he steps foot on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378465" first="Ike" last="Sutton"], Madison: Ike is a very productive combo guard who does his best work on the offensive end of the court. Ike has done a great job of finding ways to score for himself, and is also an excellent passer who can easily get his teammates involved whenever they need an offensive spark.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378466" first="Barrett" last="Wilson"], Madison: Sharing the backcourt with Ike, Wilson is an underrated ball handler who makes very few mistakes on the court. He does a great job of keeping Madison in their offense and plays with a high basketball IQ, allowing his teammates to succeed as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378470" first="James" last="Wood"], Genesis Prep: James is a great shooter who has been able to help Genesis Prep a lot this year and will look to make the most out of an expanded role on the team next season. This offseason will be critical for helping James find his place on the team and make the most of his time.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378471" first="Gus" last="Arriola"], Boise: Gus helped Boise a lot this season and graduating seniors should help him to really identify his role within the team for next season. Grus has a great all around feeling for the game and his ability to make great decisions on the offensive end makes him a solid point guard.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378469" first="Ryan" last="Buehler"], Timberline: Ryan has the skill and ability to develop into a great two-way player for Timberline. Ryan has a terrific jump shot and he will be working this offseason in order to help improve his efficiency on the offensive end of things.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378468" first="Jackson" last="Kelly"], Timberline: Kelly has great size and uses his high release to help him elevate over the top of smaller defenders. His mid-range jump shot is deadly and he has shown a great ability to expand his range as well.
