The senior forward has put together a couple of good games this past week. In his first game of the week, the Storm faced off against the powerhouse Warriors. Even though the Storm would ultimately fall to the Warriors, the 6-foot-5 senior was able to pour in 14 points going 100% from the floor. Was able to snag in 8 rebounds to go along with his scoring output. Burt and the Storm would play host to another tough team in their next game, Lincoln Northeast. The senior forward chimed in with 14 points and 9 rebounds in a bounce-back win for the Storm. The Storm takes on the Mustangs in their next matchup, which would be the toughest three-team stretch for any team this season. Burt has his work cut out for him taking on Jasen Green Jasen Green Jasen Green 6'7" | PF Millard North | 2022 State #153 Nation NE .

A big part of the Thunderbolts success this season is the play for their junior forward Brady. Barely averaging double digits this season. The 6-foot-6 forward has been on tear in his last few games. Starting last week with a close game against Skutt. Brady was able to pour in 15 points only missing one shot from the field. Foul trouble in the first half kept Brady out the game and the Thunderbolts suffered falling to Skutt. Thunderbolts would correct course in their next game with Brady adding in 15 points and 12 rebounds to roll over Columbus. The next game against the Bulldogs, the senior forward erupts for his season high in points and rebounds. Brady would record his 7th double-double of the season dropping 29 points and 19 rebounds. The Washburn commit has been coming in to form lately and which benefitted the Thunderbolts riding a three-game winning streak at the moment.

Was an up and down week for the Tiger’s guard. Tigers faced off against the Raiders in their first game of the week. Averaging 15 points this season, the senior guard would fail to reach that mark dropping only 12 points hitting a couple shots from the floor. Rogers would help his squad in more other ways than scoring, dishing out five assists and seven rebounds as the Tigers pick up the win. The next game wouldn’t be the same outcome for the Tigers. Playing the Cadets, Rogers scored a game high of 22 points while snagging in 12 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. The 6-foot-3 guard is built nicely to bang with the big men, snagging seven rebounds a game second on his squad. He is also tall enough to see the floor averaging a team best three assists per game.

The senior guard is averaging a team high 18 points this season for the Clippers. With each of their games this previous week, Clippers were battle tested this week. Hayden Frank Hayden Frank 6'2" | SG Malcolm | 2023 State NE was more than up to the task, averaging 24.3 points the last three games. Against Mead this previous Saturday, the guard was able to pour in 16 points. A win for the Clippers to start the road trip. The next game the Clippers traveled Tecumseh to play the Thunderbirds. A narrow win for the Clippers with Frank leading the way with 24 points. Final game of their road trip would have the Clippers landing at Palmyra, to take on the Panthers. The senior guard would score his season high 30 points resulting in another win to extend their winning streak to four games. With a couple games before districts start, Frank looks to be finding his rhythm. Picking a good time to turn it on.

The senior guard has turn it around the last three games. Not hitting the double digits his six previous games before, Casey erupted the last few games averaging 18.3 points per game in that span. The senior finally returned to form in their matchup against the Bears. In a blowout win for the Jr Jays, the 6-foot-3 guard was able to pour in 14 points hitting a couple triples and dishing out few dimes to his teammates. In the next matchup against a much tougher opponent, the Jr Jays repeated the same effort cruising to a commanding win. Casey was able to chime in 15 points hitting a few threes and cashing in at the charity line. Against the Thunderbirds in their next game, the shifty senior had his best game of the season, erupting for 26 points, 5 for 7 from downtown. Even with the big push from their senior guard the Jr Jays would still fall to the Thunderbirds. With five games left the Jr Jays look to turn the ship around and getting back to winning in this final stretch.

T’andre Perkins T’andre Perkins T’andre Perkins 6'5" | SF Omaha North | 2023 State NE | 6’5 F | Omaha South/Sal Elite 16U

[player_tooltip player_id="1154465" first="T’Andre" last="Perkins"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1235578" first="Teriyon" last="Griggs"] put full-court pressure on an Omaha Burke guard.

Just a junior Perkins has been an impact for Packers this season, having a few standout games. Over the past week the junior first played a not-so-great game to bounce back to great performance the next game. Packers would first play the winless Huskies, winning by a commanding lead. Perkins was only able to score four points fpr the Packers as they cruise to victory. The following game will be a tougher matchup against the Dragons. Facing a more formidable team, Perkins was able to turn his scoring woes around dropping 16 points shooting 60% from the field. Even with the scoring burst the Packers would still fall to the Dragons.  A total of six wins this season as the everyone heads into the final games, the Packers have a lot to build off from going forward. With games like this from Perkins, will be nice building block for the future.
