<p>Tuesdays are in short supply. Yes, the nationwide supply-chain issues are hitting us right where it hurts most, our collective basketball soul.</p>
<p>We need to enjoy the Tuesdays while we still have them.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Best Forward Performances</span></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1214939" first="Daniel" last="Cochran"]</strong> (Brentwood) scored the Bruins’ last two buckets to both give BHS the lead and then subsequently square the game up at 52-52 after RHS hit an intervening three-pointer. The game eventually moved into overtime and without Cochran’s late-game heroics, the Bruins never complete that miraculous comeback.</p>
<p>In one of the best wins Tuesday, Boyd Buchanan overtook a talented Tyner Academy team, 52-51. <strong>Jacob Shockley</strong> put up 15 points with 5 rebounds.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1211912" first="Alijah" last="Curry"]</strong> (Memphis East)<br />
Alijah was once the #1 player in 2024. He might be ready to return just yet, but his contributions in this high octane event were a perfect display of his high end talent and ceiling. Curry got off the ground so quickly. He was pressuring passing lanes and also pulled down rebounds with those quick leaps.</p>
<p><strong>Cooper Takacs</strong> (2022) accumulated 12 points through the first half for Sevier County. Interestingly, Takacks and the visiting Smoky Bears, in the first half, held the entire Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders to just 15 points.</p>
<p><strong>Agbo Ogbonna</strong> (2022) once again racked up a near-double-double. He is a completely unknown gem out of Knoxville Christian.</p>

<p><strong>Caleb Roper</strong> (C.P.A.) helped dispatch of the Lipscomb Academy Tuesday night. He finished with a dozen points.</p>
<p><strong>Richard Bell Jr.</strong> (Northview Academy) scored 22 points in a key road 53-32 win against county rival Pigeon Forge. The Cougars picked up their fifth straight win.</p>
<p>One of the best bigs, [player_tooltip player_id="1262199" first="Brock" last="Vice"] mustered 23 points on 16 second-half points. </p>
<p><strong>Bennett Lane</strong> (Knox Halls) scored 18 points. His Red Devils easily beat Seymour. This is his first mention on our website. </p>
