This series continues covering the top players, while giving analysis on the "And 1" performer for each team. Three of the Five teams we are covering in this grouping are currently in the top 10 and have multiple players on their roster with talent!

*Stats as of 1/17/2022

Bellevue East

The Bucket: Sam Prokupek | SF | 6’4" 165lbs | Sr | 8.7 Pts | 3.7 Reb | 1.2 Steals | 1.3 Assists | 43% FG

And 1: Jaeden Jimenez | PG | 5’8" 155lbs | Sr | 8.5 Pts | 1.7 Reb | 1.0 Assists | 37% FG

Jaeden is a shifty guard with a deep range. Jaeden is quick to get to an open spot, when coming down the court, and has an even quick trigger. Teams have to account for his three point shooting but he often slips open, leaving defenders to scramble to contest. Jaeden can be as lethal as they come from outside when he catches fire!

Bellevue West

The Bucket: [player_tooltip player_id="1013209" first="Josiah" last="Dotzler"] | PG/SG | 6’3" 180lbs | Jr | 17.3 Pts | 4.3 Reb | 2.6 Steals | 4.5 Assists | 53% FG

And 1: Will Kyle III | PF/C | 6’8" 198lbs | Sr | 12.2 Pts | 7.1 Reb | 1.5 Assists | 2.5 Blocks | 59% FG

Will is a long, athletic big man who runs the floor extremely well. The South Dakota St. commit, does a great job getting on the deep block and finishes better than anyone in the state at the rim, often creating highlight dunks. On the defensive end, he is one of the best rim protectors in the state as well, and changes offensive game plans nightly. Will is a top ten player and whenever he is around the rim, get your popcorn ready!

Papillion La-Vista

The Bucket: [player_tooltip player_id="890583" first="Kyle" last="Ingwerson"] | SF/SG | 6’6" 215lbs | Sr | 17.3 Pts | 4.5 Reb | 1.1 Steals | 2.4 Assists | 40% FG

And 1: [player_tooltip player_id="890579" first="Luke" last="Lindenmeyer"] | PF/C | 6’4" 225LBS | Sr | 15.5 Pts | 6.7 Reb | 2.6 Assists | 1.1 Steals | 48% FG

Luke is a load to handle in the post. He has a solid offensive package but his strength and footwork around the rim allow him to get buckets. Luke knows how to use his size to control the boards and does a great job passing out of the post. The Nebraska football commit’s athleticism is truly impressive and he can give opponents fits around the rim!

Papillion La-Vista South

The Bucket: [player_tooltip player_id="890580" first="Daniel" last="Brocaille"] | SF/SG | 6’5" 210lbs | Sr | 19.3 Pts | 8.1 Reb | 1.5 Steals | 2.5 Assists | 43% FG

And 1: Bryson Bahl | G | 6’3" 170lbs | Fr | 10.2 Pts | 3.5 Reb | 1.3 Assists | 1.5 Steals | 40% FG

Bryson has been impressive his freshman year. He let’s the game come to him, does not force shots. He has a good mid range game and plays a little bigger than he is but is still growing. He has a good motor is always active on both ends of the floor. The Titans are good hands with freshman Bahl and Kircher after Brocaille and Medeck graduate.

Gretna

The Bucket: [player_tooltip player_id="1131116" first="Landon" last="Pokorski"] | PG/SG | 6’1" 170lbs | So | 18.1 Pts | 3.8 Reb | 3.0 Assists | 48% FG

And 1: [player_tooltip player_id="1131118" first="Alex" last="Wilcoxson"] | SG/PG | 6’0" 165LBS | So | 12.9 Pts | 3.8 Reb | 1.3 Assists | 1.1 Steals | 47% FG

Alex is a sharpshooter! Alex has a tremendous catch and release that does not allow defenders much recovery time. He is a floor spreader and creates lanes for Pokorski, as his defender cannot leave him unattended. Alex is the true meaning of hand down, man down! These two guards will have Gretna challenging the top for the next few years.
