Many players are having breakout seasons while 2022 players are fighting every possession for their chance at playing on the next level. Below we take a deeper look into players to know in the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast area. These 4 players have been having solid seasons thus far and need to be on college coaches radars:
2022 Chancellor Wilson Chancellor Wilson 6'6" | SF Lake Worth Community | 2022 State FL – Lake Worth High School – Chance is having a big senior season thus far as this versatile 6’6 player has been doing it all for his team. Chance has played a key role in Lake Worth’s hot 10-2 start as one of the top teams in the area. Chance is averaging 15 points per game to go along with 8 rebounds. He is very athletic and uses his large frame well. Chance has a college ready frame and is someone college coaches need on their radar asap. I expect Chance to have a strong finish to his senior season and look forward to seeing what his future holds. I really like the upside to Chance’s overall game.
2022 Alex Houck Alex Houck 6'3" | CG Jupiter | 2022 State FL – Jupiter High School – Alex is having a solid season and shooting at a high percentage from beyond the three point line. Alex always seems to be in attack mode and can score at will when needed. I have been impressed by his overall style of play and expect to see him play at the next level. Alex is one of the more consistent scorers in the area and can really get it going from beyond the arc. I love the energy and passion he plays with as that carries over to his teammates on the court.
2022 Caleb Mackrey Caleb Mackrey 6'2" | CG Olympic Heights | 2022 State FL – Olympic Heights High School – Caleb has been one of the most impressive combo guards I have seen this season. Watching film on him it is easy to see that he is one of the best scorers in the area as evidenced by his current average of 22 points per game to go along with 4 rebounds 4 assists and 3 steals. Caleb is shooting an above average percentage from beyond the three point line and is always attacking the basket. Caleb spends a lot of time at the free throw line due to his aggressive style of play and knowing how to use his body to draw contact. Caleb recently had a standout 45 point performance against Atlantic High School while shooting 71% from the field. College coaches need to be scouting him asap!
2022 Timarion Bradwell – Vero Beach High School – This 6’3 guard has been getting done on both ends of the floor this season. Timarion has been averaging 17 points per game to go along with 4 rebounds leading his team thus far. Timarion has a smooth style of play and can get going in a hurry. He moves well without the ball and plays aggressive. I like his overall game and feel he could make an impact at the next level with the right program.
