Take a look at the unsigned senior standouts from the 919 in Part I of the 252/919 Winter Classic Standouts.

[player_tooltip player_id="1253927" first="Baron" last="Williams"] | 5’10 Point Guard | Cleveland High | 2022

Williams was impressive, on his birthday nonetheless, as he led the way scoring for the Cleveland Rams with 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists to pace the backcourt attack. He’s developed nicely as a combo guard with a fearless range on the perimeter and a knack for making plays and doing the little things to ensure his team gets victories. He’s a name DII, DIII and JUCO coaches should take a look at.

[player_tooltip player_id="1028010" first="Gabe" last="Proctor"] | 6’2 Shooting Guard | Apex Friendship | 2022

Proctor was lights out from behind the arc, showcasing why he’s considered one of the top sharpshooters in his class. He knocked down nine 3-pointers to the tune of 29 points for Apex Friendship despite the result. He’s a guard with a nice shooting stroke and only needs a bit of room to find space to get his shot off. He’s an unsigned name for colleges at the DII and DIII levels to get eyes on.

[player_tooltip player_id="945006" first="Justin" last="Monden"] | 6’1 Point Guard | Heritage | 2022

Monden was another top scorer on the day at the 252/919 Winter Classic for Heritage High. He poured in 33 points while showing off his mid-range and perimeter game. As he asserts himself in the backcourt as a balanced attacker, look for colleges on the DII and DIII stages to start recruiting him in the spring/summer months. He holds an offer from Guilford College as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="848082" first="Noah" last="Ross"] | 6’6 Wing/Forward | Trinity Academy Raleigh | 2022

Ross is typically known for his sharpshooting ability but his game continues to grow as he posted a double-double (18 points, 11 rebs, 3 stls) in the Tigers victory over West Carteret. He’s an underrated athletic prospect that’s put on muscle and it’s shown in his ability to defend, control the boards and attack the paint. He’s a UNC-Wilmington commit with a tremendous work ethic.

[player_tooltip player_id="838046" first="Sam" last="Perez"] | Trinity Academy Raleigh | 2022

Perez is another D1 commit (High Point University) that stood out with his ability to get to the rim and knock down shots. He put up 14 points while showing off his ability to attack inside and out depending on what the defense gives him. He’s another prospect that’s developed quite nicely and has his best basketball ahead of him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1220100" first="Jaylan" last="Bowen"] | 5’9 Guard | Millbrook | 2022

Bowen continues to lead by example for the Millbrook Wildcat this season. He posted 18 points and seven rebounds in a gritty win for Millbrook over a tough Farmville Central squad. He’s a lights-out shooter with a knack for creating off the bounce and he’s not afraid to get his nose dirty and rebound on either end. He’s a late-bloomer in the 2022 class that DII and DIII schools should take a look at.

[player_tooltip player_id="1126560" first="CeeJay" last="Jordan"] | 6’4 Forward/Wing | Millbrook | 2022

Jordan is the pulse and energy for the Millbrook Wildcats with his ability to operate down low and set the tone with his ability to attack the rim. He finished with 23 points and five rebounds in the victory for his squad and recently earned an offer from Central Carolina Community College. He’s certainly a developmental prospect in the making with room to grow in all areas of the game.
