<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>Classic at Damien: Revelations (Part 2)</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">LA VERNE, CA—Despite a surge of Covid over the Southland, the Classic at Damien persevered with some outstanding games and talent galore—especially the underclassmen. There were some senior standouts like Colorado State-bound <b>Jack Payne</b> (Owyhee/ID) and Fresno State-bound <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1176080" first="Joseph" last="Hunter"]</b> (Damien) as well as some scintillating underclassmen like 2024 <b>Vyctorius Miller</b> (Crean Lutheran) and 2025 <b>Jovani Ruff</b> (LB Poly).<span class="Apple-converted-space"> There were also some revelations including 2025 prospects <strong>Elzie Harrington</strong> and <strong>Isaac Williamson.</strong> </span></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="992480" first="Jared" last="McCain"] (Corona Centennial)</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>2023, CG, 6-foot-3, 185 pounds</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Joel’s Take:</b> McCain has had a national reputation since his freshman campaign. He plays with a hot motor and is an impeccable shooter off the catch. He can play both guard positions due to his moxie, savvy, and solid straight-line speed. However, he isn’t a burner off the dribble and he’ll need to continue to add to his overall game and find a college with an ideal system to fit his skill set.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Issac Williamson (Riverside Poly)</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>2025, PG, 5-foot-10, 150 pounds</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Joel’s Take:</b> Williamson is yet another fine-looking freshman in Southern California. He is a versatile guard who plays with a feel of someone much older and experienced. He can knock down the 3-point shot, take defenders off the bounce, and he’s a solid defender. It will be intriguing to see his growth (changes speeds off the dribble, etc.) from the point guard position going forward.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="994955" first="Kollen" last="Murphy"] (Colony)</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>2023, CG, 6-foot-3, 170 pounds</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Joel’s Take:</b> Murphy is a gifted left-handed combo-guard who can play and defend both guard positions. He has a solid burst off the dribble, has his head up while navigating the defense, and he can score off the drive or on his evolving pull-up game. Slowly, but assuredly, his game has improved each and every season.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Elzie Harrington (St. John Bosco)</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>2025, PG, 6-foot-4, 170 pounds</b></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Joel’s Take:</b> Harrington is one of the Top 5 freshman prospects in the West—and that is saying something for this class. The long and rangy point guard prospects play with a good pace and can score from all three levels. His vision is excellent, changes speed well, but at times he plays too high while attacking. Overall, his potential is immense.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span></p>
