4A is going to be fun and there is less parity this year than years past as there are very few teams that can take it all. When the high school association made 4A into a North and South, they really did away with the parity. Now there are 2-4 teams that actually have a shot.

1.Snow Canyon 10-0 (2)

Snow Canyon has the right pieces to really make it difficult to beat. In the front-court you start with 6’9 [player_tooltip player_id="934041" first="Lyman" last="Simmons"] who is a tough cover as he is stronger than he was last season. He has a hook over both shoulders that is tough to contest with anywhere near the blocks. He is really confident at the high post area taking mid-range shots. [player_tooltip player_id="1132291" first="Bowen" last="Hammer"] is another front-court player that can get it going on any night. The wings you have Walker Morisson and Owen Mackey who is athletic and can really be electric.

2. Ridgeline 6-4 (3)

Ridgeline has some firepower as they can go inside and outside with the great duo of [player_tooltip player_id="934474" first="Kaden" last="Cox"] and [player_tooltip player_id="967688" first="Peyton" last="Knowles"]. Kaden is one of the best shooters in the state regardless of classification. Really looks more fluid this year at this time than last season. Peyton is not only a high motor SF but he is starting to really get it going from the outside. Ridgeline is a team that could be trouble for teams as they have two dynamic players among others playing their roles.

3. Dixie 8-2 (1)

The team that is always on top has fallen a bit because of two key losses but at the same time they are still really good. They have size and depth that will come in handy. [player_tooltip player_id="1185179" first="Kyle" last="Lemke"] is a gem in the Class of 2024 who has D1 potential. Then you have a big like [player_tooltip player_id="1046138" first="Kean" last="Webb"] who can hold it down in the paint. Cam Dyer is another athlete. [player_tooltip player_id="1191953" first="Risko" last="Brooks"] is a major piece that has been out for a few games. Look for Dixie to adjust and get it going.

4. Sky View 7-3 (4)

The north is strong with a tough scrappy team like Sky View. They are that smaller school that gives some 6A and 5A schools fits. With key wins over Weber, Woods Cross, West Jordan and Fremont Sky View has game. [player_tooltip player_id="969255" first="Logan" last="Deal"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1046503" first="Hayden" last="Howell"] can really pack a punch. Don’t sleep on them.

5. Green Canyon 5-4 (NR)

Green Canyon has one of the most impressive home court advantages in the entire 4A classification. [player_tooltip player_id="1338746" first="Brady" last="Smith"] uses that energy as he is a high motor and active guard that is a really good defender. [player_tooltip player_id="1057039" first="Jared" last="Anderson"] is another guard that you have to account for as he can fill it up in a hurry.
