Tue., Dec. 28th…Compass Prep (AZ) vs. Westtown School: The historic Slam Dunk to the Beach Tournament (DE) will be the stage for a matchup between two nationally ranked teams. Westtown’s roster includes DI prospects like seniors [player_tooltip player_id="991188" first="Jameel" last="Brown"] (Penn State) and [player_tooltip player_id="991185" first="Dereck" last="Lively II"] (Duke) as well as junior Seyphon Triplett (multiple DI offers).
Wed., Dec. 29th…Devon Prep vs. Reading: Devon Prep’s [player_tooltip player_id="1116055" first="Lucas" last="Orchard"] is having a breakout season from a scoring standpoint. Orchard and elite combo guard [player_tooltip player_id="991309" first="Argel" last="Pettit"] form an extraordinary duo. But the defending 6A state champions roster boasts all-state point guard [player_tooltip player_id="1279633" first="Ruben" last="Rodriguez"] and one of the best two-way wing players in the state, [player_tooltip player_id="1116036" first="Daniel" last="Alcantara"]. Additionally, Reading has already defeated Imhotep who many hoop heads feel is the best team in Philadelphia.

Wed., Dec. 29th…Pope John Paul II at Radnor: This matchup of undefeated teams will feature a slew of college prospects. Radnor (6-0) is headlined by their 2023 group which features elite shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id="1119137" first="Jackson" last="Hicke"] (19 ppg.), slashing wing [player_tooltip player_id="1212678" first="Charlie" last="Thornton"] and savvy point guard [player_tooltip player_id="1200819" first="Danny" last="Rosenblum"]. Keep an eye out for 6’4” junior Colin Schumm. He is a wing/forward prospect on the rise. Lincoln was last season’s Philly Public League runner up. They return a host of talent and added two key newcomers. 6’6” stretch-4 prospect Matt Williams (2022) and fellow senior Khrystopher Murray are returners who will play at the next level. Headline grabbing transfers Ayemere Thomas and [player_tooltip player_id="1185939" first="Rashan" last="Locke-Hicks"] are high level basketball talents who have made an immediate impact.
