1.) [player_tooltip player_id="682265" first="Trey" last="Campbell"] (Cedar Falls, 2022) - 26.8 points a game

The future Northern Iowa guard knew that he would need to step up his scoring a bit following a slew of graduations from last year's fantastic team, and he has done just that, leading the class in scoring and shooting 57.3% from the floor in the process. A long, lanky, and lightning-quick lead guard, Campbell is able to get to the rim routinely and finish. His 3-point shooting has dipped a bit this season, but he's also taking more difficult shots. If he can get that percentage back up closer to 40%, he could have an even bigger second half of his senior year.

[caption id="attachment_1356612" align="alignright" width="300"] Photo: Sean Bock 247Sports[/caption]
2.) [player_tooltip player_id="956868" first="Pryce" last="Sandfort"] (Waukee Northwest, 2023) - 25.4

Efficiency is the word that comes to mind when you watch Sandfort play. He's an efficient scorer, but he also just moves efficiently. There is very little wasted movement in his game, everything is done with a purpose. A 6-6/6-7 wing who can really shoot it, he is thriving this year as the star of the new school after being an elite role player for Waukee the last few years. He's posting 48-37-94 shooting splits and averaging 10.1 rebounds a game in addition to his scoring.

3.) [player_tooltip player_id="1158261" first="Peter" last="Moe"] (Iowa City West, 2022) - 25.2

A dominant three-level scorer at 6-9, Moe has led the Trojans back to prominence in 4A, leading the team in scoring and rebounding (9.0) while posting incredible 67-44-85 shooting splits. He has excellent footwork and touch around the rim, a silky smooth stroke from the arc, and the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim or elevate into a mid-range jumper.

4.) [player_tooltip player_id="682278" first="Trey" last="Lewis"] (Johnston, 2022) - 24.1

Lewis has been arguably the most impressive player in 4A so far this season, averaging 24.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.9 steals a game for the Dragons. A 6-0 guard who is really starting to fill out and add some strength to his frame, he's one of the best ball-handlers in the state and has limitless range. He shoots it at a high clip off the dribble and has really improved as an all-around playmaking threat, creating shots for himself and others.

5.) [player_tooltip player_id="962490" first="Eli" last="Raridon"] (Valley, 2022) - 23.0

The future Notre Dame tight end unfortunately recently tore his ACL during and won't be able to finish out the year. An athletic 6-7 forward with a ton of bounce and surprisingly strong ball-handling abilities, Raridon is capable of filling it up from all three levels, and is a terror in transition, as he looks to dunk everything on everybody. It's a shame that he got hurt, as he had been so dominant early this season that the Tigers were looking like potential 4A state champions if he stayed healthy.

[caption id="attachment_1066742" align="alignright" width="300"] Henderson[/caption]
6.) [player_tooltip player_id="956876" first="Chase" last="Henderson"] (Hoover, 2023) - 23.0

The 6-1 lead guard picked up his first offer from South Dakota in August, and he has been playing at a high level so far this season for the Huskies, leading the team in scoring and assists. He hasn't shot the ball well from the arc so far this season, but he uses his quickness to blow by defenders and get to the rim, where he is a really good finisher, and the shooting should improve as the sample size gets bigger.

7.) [player_tooltip player_id="1167719" first="Riley" last="Edwards"] (Southeast Polk, 2023) - 21.3

A 6-3 wing with great length, Edwards has been a pleasant surprise this year for the Rams, leading the team in scoring and assists. He's a smooth offensive player who can score from all three levels, shoots it off the dribble and the catch, and is a solid playmaking threat as well.

8.) [player_tooltip player_id="682266" first="Josh" last="Dix"] (Council Bluffs Lincoln, 2022) - 20.3

The future Iowa Hawkeye wing is a do-it-all player who stuffs the stat sheet on a nightly basis for the team we currently have ranked #1 in 4A, averaging 20.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.5 steals, and 2.3 blocks a game. He's a high IQ player who picks and chooses his spots as a scorer and doesn't force anything.

9.) [player_tooltip player_id="1171658" first="Trovary" last="Cavil"] (Des Moines Lincoln, 2024) - 20.2

The sophomore lead guard has been impressive for the Railsplitters, dishing out 4.7 assists a game in addition to his scoring and improved efficiency. He's armed with an elite handle and the ability to shoot it off the dribble, stopping on a dime and elevating into his shot. He's a creative player who scores and facilitates at a high level.

10.) Si’Marion Anderson (Waterloo West, 2023) - 19.5

Anderson, a 6-0 wing, has burst onto the scene out of seemingly thin air this season, leading the Wahawks in scoring and posting impressive 56-44-69 shooting splits along the way. He's an athletic wing who looks to attack the rim and he has a strong mid-range game. He's a capable 3-point shooter, but less than 20% of his field-goal attempts come from the arc.
