Tyree Davis 2022 6’6 Dawson High School
Tyree is a very fluid athlete who thrives at scoring in the paint. He is great at moving without the basketball and finding the weak spots in the defense. Whether he is operating along the three point line, or cutting baseline or flashing to the midpost, Davis always seeems to be in consistent motion to get open. He is great on the fast break, where he finishes very consistently. He is able to get to is shot off the dribble and attacks the glass with ferocity. I loved watching him look to locate rebounds on both ends of the floor. I would like to see continued development with taking the best look down the court, and not forcing himself into bad situations.
Jackson Adams 2022 Guard 6’4 Reagan High School
Jackson is a sniper from beyond the arc. He displayed an ability to score at will despite intense defense and him being his team’s main offensive weapon. He attacks the basket at a high level as well, however his main damage is normally done beyond the arc. He displayed an ability to get to his midrange jumper at will as well and even had a soft touch floater he got to at will. I would like to see him continue to develop his overall vision and ability to create for his teammates, especially as he draws more offensive attention.
Kai Chester 2022 5’11 Desoto High School
Kai is one of the best undersized guards I have seen play in a long time. His ability to score at all three level was impressive, however his on-court leadership, energy and drive is what really separates him from other point guards. He is vocal on both ends of the floor and has a calming presence when he has the ball in his hands. He has the ability to make every pass on the floor in both the half court and full court, and routinely made crisp cross court passes that set up his teammates for easy looks. He has the ability to score off the bounce at a very high level, especially beyond the arc. He seems to explode vertically and releases it at a high point which allows him to offset his high difference.
Xavier Owens Xavier Owens 6'5" | SF Grace Christian Academy | 2022 State TX 2022 6’5 Klein Cain High School
Xavier is a special combo guard with all the tools to become extremely deadly at the next level. He has an impressive frame paired with long arms and fluid mobility. He is agile with a live dribble and can split defenders and make crazy passes out to his shooters when the defense collapses. He is an elite scorer from all three levels already, and made defenders look silly by getting to his shot off the dribble. He is also a deadly shooter off the catch and can space the floor if paired with a ball dominant point guard. He is a freak athlete as well, he has an impressive vertical and threw down some impressive dunks while at the showcase. His ability to finish against high level paint defenders really stood out, he was able to adjust his shot angle and routinely complete tough plays around the rim.
