CNHY Showcase: 2022 Top Performers

Bryson was able to finish at the rim with good body control today when he wasn’t knocking down perimeter jumpers. Kory can really get to his spots on the floor and make plays. Davis has a great basketball feel playing for his father Larry Davis a former University of South Carolina Gamecock. Kendall is a pesky defender and is always looking to stir it up on the defensive end with chaos. Kendall was able to hit some perimeter shots today while scoring 13 points in a win over Keenan HS. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="837333" first="Samaad" last="Wright"] - Blythewood HS</strong></p> <p>Wright and the Bengals came up on the short end of a defeat. Samaad was able to score at times from the mid-range game to the cup. Wright will play every possession like it’s his last while on the floor. Calvin can knockdown perimeter jumpers or use a nice mid-range game at times. Hall was able to sacrifice some of his scoring today with some quality passes and assists to his teammates. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1151064" first="Marvin" last="Hires"] - Dreher HS (pictured on front)</strong></p> <p>Hires is very nimble and lite on his feet around the floor. Hires has a good frame and a nice set of shoulders. Marvin was able to drop a few jump-hooks to finish around the cup today. Bruce has the ability over power players down on the block.  Valerian plays his best basketball closer to the cup and that’s where he seems most effective. Bruce gives the Knights a good mismatch option in the paint at times with his blue-collar mentality to the game.</p>
