Coach Clay Pottorff talks about team goals and expectations
“We want to step into every game expecting to compete and come out with a victory – getting sharper as the season progresses to put ourselves in a good situation to play our best basketball as postseason play gets rolling.“

“I am excited to play a couple more games on the eastern side of the state, we know that if want to be able to compete in any postseason game we need to get some experience playing teams that know the standard necessary to compete.“

Aiden Giffin Aiden Giffin 6'3" | PF Belle Fourche | 2022 State SD (2022) |6-3 G|
Last season stats: 13.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg. He is an explosive player that is entering his third year as a starter for the Broncs. Last season Aiden was ALL-BHC and was also honorable mention as a sophomore. Giffin has good footwork which allows him to make effective counter moves when the defense over pursues. Expect a very nice year from Aiden.
Anthony Budmayr Anthony Budmayr 6'1" | PG Belle Fourche | 2023 State SD (2023) |6-0 G|
Last season stats: 9.8 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 2 apg. He was voted All-BHC last season. Anthony handles the ball well and he attacks with a purpose in transition. Budmayr plays well in the high post area he has an excellent pull-up game.
Gabe Heck (2022) |5-11 G|
Last season stats: 5.4 ppg, 2.9 rpg. Gabe earned his way into the starting lineup midway through last season. Heck is a great shooter with a good feel for the game. Gabe never forces a shot and he does not try to do too much. Heck is a solid all-around defender that can guard multiple positions.
Ryker Audiss (2022) |6-3 F|
He played well in multiple games last year on varsity. Ryker can play inside and out. He excels in the pick-and-roll game and he can also pick-and-pop.
Anthony Staley (2023) |6-5 F|
He is long and wiry. Anthony runs the floor very well. Staley has good hands and he is an aggressive rebounder.
Cole Hockenbary (2022) |6-1 G|
He is a scrappy player that understands how to play with his teammates. Cole has a very good motor and clever instincts on defense.
