11B First Team Offense

[player_tooltip player_id="1123711" first="Max" last="McQuillan"] (2022) |6-5 G| Kindred

He made the All-State team as a QB. Max was also the State Championship QB for the Vikings. In Basketball, Max will be one of the most skilled players for Kindred and he is a tough matchup because of his size. As a guard, hardly anyone can handle his size. His length makes Max a versatile and problematic defender. Can McQuillan win two State Championships in his senior season?

[player_tooltip player_id="1123709" first="Jake" last="Deutsch"] (2022) |6-1 SG| Central Cass

He made the All-State team as a WR. Deutsch is a dynamic playmaker in both sports. I expect him to be one of the top athletes in Region-1 this season. CC will be competing with the top teams in the Region. Jake can score from the perimeter and he can also slash to the basket. His effort will impress people and the Squirrels will compete will the top spot in the southeast. Deutsch will be a difference-maker in his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046362" first="Kaden" last="Chadwick"] (2022) |6-6 PF| Velva

He made the All-State team as an offensive lineman. Kaden has committed to NDSU for football. He will be a load down-low for Velva. Chadwick will have the attention of every team and he will be a stout lane defender. On offense, Kaden will score in a variety of ways inside the arc. In high-low matchups, he will crush and in 1on1 matchups on the block, Kaden will score with ease. Chadwick will have a momentous senior season in hoops for Velva.

11B First Team Defense

[player_tooltip player_id="1318349" first="Caleb" last="Olson"] (2022) |6-3 PF| Lisbon

He made the All-State team as a defensive lineman. Olson committed to UND to play football after graduation. This big man was All-Region in hoops last year and he put up 19 ppg. Caleb is thick, strong, and aggressive. Olson can play bully-ball on the block when he is not doubled. Olson will have another All-Region season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1138888" first="Mitch" last="Heinert"] (2023) |6-5 PF| Nedrose

He made the All-State team as a defensive lineman. Mitch is a big, strong, and aggressive athlete. His motor is always running at full-tilt. Heinart is not just a big athlete, he is also skilled. Mitch finishes with power and touch. He also can hit 15-foot jumpers. Look for Heinart to take people off the dribble this year and to be a top talent in Region-6.

[player_tooltip player_id="1126983" first="Trapper" last="Skalsky"] (2022) |6-0 G| Beulah

He made the All-State team as a Linebacker. Trapper has committed to the University of Jamestown for baseball. In hoops, Skalsky is a skilled 3-pointer shooter and he will be an all-around scorer for the Miners. He is a strong and physical guard. Trapper can post up and score in the paint as well. Look for Trapper and the Miners to make a push for a return to the State Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id="1130544" first="Parker" last="Gallagher"] (2022) |5-10 G| Hillsboro-Central Valley

He made the All-State team as a DB. For hoops, the Burros will be one of the best teams in Region-2, and Parker will be a key component. Gallagher can hit from deep and also from mid-range.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046357" first="Zach" last="Hendrickson"] (2022) |6-0 PG| Our Redeemer’s

He made the All-State team as a DB. Zach will be one of the best point guards in all of North Dakota and most likely the best player in Region-6. Look for this skilled guard to have a memorable senior season. Hendrickson is a great 3-point shooter and an ultra-skilled player. It is going to be a fun run for Hendrickson.

11B Second Team

[player_tooltip player_id="1218749" first="Riley" last="Sunram"] Kindred

In hoops, Riley will be a youngster on the Kindred squad. On about any other Class B team in the State Sunram would be a starter. He is physical and very long. Riley will be very good around the basket and he can also hit the open 15-footer. Look for him to shine as a rebounder and a tough defender. The future is bright for Sunram.

[player_tooltip player_id="1176203" first="Tyler" last="Cruchet"] Central Cass

He had a great football season and Tyler will be a critical piece of the puzzle for CC.

[player_tooltip player_id="1182829" first="Kade" last="McKinnon"] Central Cass

He is an athletic player that will impact the Central Cass squad.

[player_tooltip player_id="1145544" first="Jake" last="Starcevic"] Thompson

He is a gifted and special athlete. Jake will prove that he is one of the best players in all of Region-2 this winter.
