#1 | [player_tooltip player_id="781884" first="Cason" last="Wallace"] | Combo Guard | Richardson HS

Returning district Co-MVP winner, [player_tooltip player_id="781884" first="Cason" last="Wallace"] has become known for being an all-around talent that contributes in every way possible from the tip to the buzzer while consistently showing flashes of greatness on both sides of the ball. Cason is coming off of a season where he averaged over 19 points, 9 rebounds. and 4 assists per game. As of now, Wallace is in pursuit of a state title that he fell just a game short of last season. It won’t be a surprise to anyone either if [player_tooltip player_id="781884" first="Cason" last="Wallace"] takes home the Texas Mr. Basketball award when it’s all said and done as well. After being flooded with offers from high major D1 programs from all over the country, the 5-star athlete decided to sign with coach John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats, adding to their depth as a team, and giving them the top recruiting class going into the next college season.

#3 | [player_tooltip player_id="889568" first="Terrance" last="Arceneaux"] | Small Forward | Beaumont United HS

Coming off of a sensational junior season where he not only averaged 20 points, 2 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 steals per game but he also took home the District MVP award and played a major role in Beaumont United winning the 5A state title, even going as far as to knock down the buzzer-beating three-point shot that won his team the game in overtime, earning himself the championship game Most Valuable Player honor. Houston’s hometown hero received offers from the defending National Champions Baylor University, Oklahoma University, Texas A&M, and Coach Rick Pitino at Iona College, among others, When Terrance finalized his recruitment he chose to stay home and continue his career at the University of Houston. The Beaumont United Timberwolves are at full strength yet again and they have a real chance of becoming back-to-back state champs.

#7 | [player_tooltip player_id="781886" first="P.J." last="Haggerty"] | Point Guard | Crosby HS

[player_tooltip player_id="781886" first="P.J." last="Haggerty"] had an insane junior season where he proved to be one of the most unstoppable point guards in the country. Hagzfgerty is a high volume score-first guard with every tool at his arsenal to be a formidable point guard with the quickness, ball speed, and creativity to beat any defender off the dribble along with the footwork and shooting stroke to consistently stop on a dime for floaters, pull-ups, and step back jumpers at will, from any spot on the court. Haggerty set many records as he put up an astonishing 33.5 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, as well as 3 steals per game last year as a junior. This amazing effort earned him the All-District Offensive MVP honor in a very talented and competitive conference. Before settling on TCU, Haggerty had previously received offers from Arizona State University, the University of Houston, and multiple others. After such an incredible year there’s no telling how many points Haggerty will put up this season to cap off his phenomenal high school career.

#8 | [player_tooltip player_id="958564" first="KyeRon" last="Lindsay"] | Forward | Denton Guyer HS

[player_tooltip player_id="958564" first="KyeRon" last="Lindsay"] became the biggest stock riser in the nation this past summer after continuously dominating the competition, particularly at the Nike Peach Jam where he caught every college coach’s attention and began to rack up scholarship offers like crazy, receiving letters from the University of Georgia, the University of Tennessee, Texas Tech, DePaul, Marquette, Oklahoma State, UTSA, Texas A&M, along with many more before committing to the Runnin’ Rebels at UNLV. Lindsay is a very rare talent at his position with a strong combination of athleticism and ball skills. He’s a lefty stretch-forward with a full skillset and the ability to control an offense with his guard-like tendencies and mentality. Lindsay gives you all of the versatility you could want from your big man in today’s game, high IQ, next-level court vision, the footwork, and ball skills to score off the dribble, and a knack for controlling the boards. KyeRon dropped 18 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assist, 2 steals, and 2 blocks last this season. He’ll be returning to the Denton Guyer court with his confidence through the roof with a chance to lead a very young and talented group of guys on a deep playoff run.

#10 | [player_tooltip player_id="889561" first="Austin" last="Nunez"] | Point Guard | San Antonio Wagner

[player_tooltip player_id="889561" first="Austin" last="Nunez"] has been one of the most highly recruited point guards in the state and going into his senior year he has officially entered the top ten of the Texas player rankings due to his productive summer competing with and against the best players and teams across the nation. Everything about Nunez’s game is elite and top-notch material, he has terrific abilities that will allow him to thrive at the Division 1 level, from his shifty handle to his lethal stop-and-pop jumpshot. [player_tooltip player_id="889561" first="Austin" last="Nunez"]’s high-level play was recognized early on in his high school career as Austin was recruited by the University of Memphis, the University of Texas, Texas A&M, University of Arkansas, Oklahoma State University, Creighton, University of Virginia, and several others. At the end of the day, the great Bobby Hurley won him over and he decided to take his talents to Temple, Arizona to play for the Arizona State Sun Devils. After missing parts of his junior season due to UIL transfer rules, Nunez will be suiting up for Wagner and returning to the high school basketball scene more prepared than ever before.
