Our 2022 class rankings are now over 135 players ranked in the class and we’ve had some movement up and down the list with this update. Here’s a look at the updated top 10 Seniors in Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id="926898" first="Mitchell" last="Rylee"], Covington Catholic - The bruising big man from northern Kentucky is committed to Miami (OH) and will be in the mix for Mr Basketball. Look for Rylee to average near a double double in his Senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="926882" first="Maker" last="Bar"], Ballard - Maker is a versatile big man with a chance to be the best overall prospect in the class as he continues developing. His recruitment seems to be under the radar right now but EKU, Jacksonville State and Iona have all offered previously.

[player_tooltip player_id="801586" first="Turner" last="Buttry"], Bowling Green - The first 2022 to commit last year, Buttry will play his college ball at EKU. One of the best shooters the state has seen recently, Turner is a competitor with a high IQ and a mean streak on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id="692942" first="Christian" last="Spalding"], Evangel Christian - Spalding will hope for a big Senior season after transferring to Evangel from Eastern over the summer. Christian added a couple of new offers in July but has yet to make a commitment. He's a talented guard who can score or create for others.

[player_tooltip player_id="801588" first="Justin" last="Becker"], Robertson County - Becker signed with Thomas More after summer AAU ended and will head into his Senior year looking to 3-peat as 10th region player of the year. Justin is probably the most valuable player in the state for his team at this point as he leads Robertson in nearly every statistical category.

[player_tooltip player_id="926883" first="James" last="Jewell"], Marion County - The long and athletic forward has already committed to Chipola Community College in Florida and will have a chance to be a big time D1 recruit after his time there is done. James is still becoming more comfortable on the wing and has the most long term upside of anyone in the Senior class.

[player_tooltip player_id="926893" first="Darien" last="Lewis"], Fern Creek - Lewis had several big scoring games this summer for Fern Creek and this particular Tiger team will rely on him for a lot this season. Darien is a shifty guard who is very quick with the ball in his hands and can get downhill and finish or create open shots for teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id="926884" first="Jordan" last="Akal"], Harlan - Jordan is primed for a big season as one of the best players in the state that doesn't get mentioned a whole lot. Akal will look to lead Harlan to an All A title and a 13th region crown this season and could be one of the leading scorers in the state as a Senior.

[player_tooltip player_id="926889" first="Luke" last="Imfeld"], Boyle County - Imfeld is a smooth scorer who helped lead Boyle to the Elite 8 at Rupp last season and will hope for a longer run this year. Luke is a high level midrange shooter who gets to his spots on offense and has become a better playmaker in the past few years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1111951" first="Bol" last="Kuir"], Belfry - The mystery man from the mountains has been seen by very few Kentuckians outside of the 15th region but does claim offers from Western Kentucky and West Virginia thanks to a good showing in AAU in July. At 7'3, Bol is a nightmare for opposing teams to face and a true difference maker for the Pirates.
