The Indiana high school season is right around the corner and we at Prep Hoops Indiana will be out and about to cover nearly the entire state all season long. With the season about to start, it is now a good time as any to preview the players that will be showcasing their talents all year. Today, we take a look at a few 2022 Cs to watch for.

[player_tooltip player_id="769692" first="Alex" last="Covey"] – 6’6 – Tri-West: Covey is a big post that is talented and physical on both ends. So much athleticism and plays like a true rim protector on the defensive side of the ball. Looking more and more like Covey will be a football player at the next level with him recently going on visits to Marian, NIU, plus an offer from Eastern Illinois University. Even if it is the football route that he chooses to go on, he still will be an impact player on this year's Tri-West team.

[player_tooltip player_id="870216" first="Landen" last="Babusiak"] – 6’10 – Bosco Institute: Babusiak is a tall, athletic, skilled post that looked very impressive over the summer for Indiana Game. One of the better mobile bigs that runs the floor so well that we have in the entire state. Excellent rebounder and can be a difference maker on the defensive end. Only notable offer I am seeing is from The College of Saint Rose which is honestly a shock because Babusiak should have way more than that. Big things are sure to come from him on a very talented Bosco Institute team.

[player_tooltip player_id="1269864" first="Wesley" last="Celichowski"] – 7’0 – Floyd Central: Celichowski is a mobile post that opened up a ton of eyes over the summer playing for Louisville Legends. Very solid pick-and-roll player that can be a real scoring throat around the basket. Just recently went on a visit to Marian, which also landed him an offer from there, with interest from Air Force, Appalachian State, Holy Cross, Morehead State, Elmhurst, Midway, and Olivet Nazarene as well. Should continue his breakout out year and be a major factor for Floyd Central all season.

[player_tooltip player_id="870224" first="Dayton" last="DeVaughan"] – 6’9 – Mooresville: DeVaughan is a true post that has improved and improved some more as his high school career has gone on. Very solid around the post whether that be scoring or rebounding. Recruitment wise have not heard a whole lot but this guy can for sure play at the next level just based on size and fundamentals alone. He will be the main man for Mooresville this year.

[player_tooltip player_id="1174129" first="Aaron" last="Humphrey"] – 6’6 – Indianapolis Tindley: Over this past year it just seems that Humphrey's game has been taken to that next level. So physical and aggressive with his entire style of play and is easily one of the most willingness player track down rebounds no matter what. Has offers from Trinity Christian College, Defiance College, should be in line for more D3/NAIA schools. Tindley has a very good team full of 2023's and Humphrey is going to be the senior leader and one of the more important players for them.
