Texas Top 250 Expo 2025 Guards (Part 4/4)

<p>There was plenty of talent on display at the Prep Hoops Texas Top 250 Expo in Dallas. This is my in-depth analysis of each of the players in attendance. Be on the lookout for the rest of my top player’s list and my coverage of all the athletes.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1295896" first="Colt" last="Siebert"] 2025 5’11 Prosper High School</p> <p>Colt is a crafty finisher who displayed some of his impressive finishing ability. He can hang in the air and change his shot angle, even when coming down and being contested by bigger players. He is the definition of a fearless slasher which is very impressive considering his size. He is a deadly player in the full court who constantly puts pressure on the defense by attacking the rack. I would like to see him work on his ability to get to his spots and rise up in the midrange.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1295908" first="Eric" last="Santana"] 2025 5’4 Brooks Academy</p> <p>Eric is a scrappy undersized guard who is aggressive and flies around the court. His energy and high-level motor stood out as his team really relied on his energy. He showed an ability to pick up skilled ball handlers the length of the court. His aggressiveness on the defensive end of the floor stood out and gave his team free looks by getting steals by playing the passing lanes. He runs the floor hard and got easy looks for himself and his team up the court.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Lanzerth Stapelton 2025 5’10 Brooks Collegiate Academy</p> <p>Lanzerth is a smart point guard who runs the floor well and can fire passes to his teammates for easy looks. He knows how to spread the floor when he doesn’t have the ball and can knock down open shots when given time to set his feet. His awareness really stood out to me; he was never positioned poorly on either end of the floor. I would like to see him work on his ability to get into the paint and attack the rim.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1295868" first="Jack" last="Flannery"] 2025 5’11 McKinney North High School</p> <p>Jack is a defensive specialist who knows how to angle his body and cut off driving lanes. He has active hands that seem to always be poking the ball free and making his opponents uncomfortable. His awareness also shined on the offensive end, getting himself easy looks by cutting behind defenders and diving when running in transition. He is a great shooter when given the time to set his feet. I would like to see him work to speed up his release and get to his one dribble pull-up in the midrange more often.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
