This Greensburg High School guard was on fire early in the morning game of the Indiana Basketball All-Star Classic and went on to finish with 12 points on perfect 4-4 shooting from three-point range. McKinsey has good size and strength for a guard and is already very comfortable in the mid-range and finishing at the end of his drives around the basket. Continuing to increase his percentage from deep, which he obviously showcased in this game, will really take his game to the next level. Led the Pirates in scoring as a junior.

Jack McKinsey was a phenomenal player in transition, constantly running the floor on offense and defense. He excelled at attacking the paint when coming downhill, making him difficult to contain. McKinney capitalized on open floor space after defensive rebounds, blocks, deflections, and steals. He also displayed great effort in contesting mid-range jumpshots and layups within his vicinity, showcasing his defensive prowess.

A Class of 2025 prospect that deserves some more attention out of southern Indiana is this 6’3″ junior guard from Greensburg High School. McKinsey has great physical tools in the backcourt and continues to develop as a backcourt piece with three-level scoring potential. McKinsey is leading the way for the Pirates averaging 15.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 50% from the field. Greensburg is 13-6, have won four straight, and will certainly be a factor in Sectional 29 alongside rivals Batesville and Greensburg.

This smooth, 6’3″ guard averaged 13 points on the weekend for Indiana Ice 2025 3SGB. McKinsey is an excellent shooter, both off the catch and off of the dribble, but really impressed with his improved quickness and athleticism. He made some really nice plays off of the dribble where he showed more of a burst than I’d seen before.

McKinsey is a bigger 2025 guard who can do it all. He did not score it as well as I have seen, but he was excellent on both the glass and on the defensive end of the floor this weekend. He is going to continue to improve into a very good college prospect.
