With a shortened Covid season last year, players are more ready to get back out on the court and prove themselves than ever. Here we look at players from North Shore Massachusetts that you should know about heading into this coming high school season.

Jarred Berry, Danvers, PG/SG, Class Senior, HT 5’11

Jarred is a talent player with good guard skills. Jarred has good handles. Jarred dribbles the ball with a purpose, and has a very effective in and out move, and crossover. Jarred can get to the basket well, and dish is out the corner if the shot at the rim is not there. Jarred has a quick first step. Jarred can play the point guard position and run the offense, and he can also play shooting guard and play off the ball.

Charlie Henderson, Ipswich, Class Senior, Position G

Charlie is an athletic guard, Who can run the floor, and score in transition. Charlie is a great defender, who has good anticipation. Charlie forces a lot of turnovers leading to fast breaks, Charlie can also play in the half court court offense. Charlie is a very good shooter, with a very solid three point shot. Charlie can also play off the ball, and moves well without the ball.

Max Grenert, Bishop Fenwick, Position SF, Class Senior, HT 6’4.

Max is a skilled player, who can play multiple positions. Max can play the forward, and score inside. Max also has guard skills and can play out the wing. Max really stretches the floor with his high level shooting, and his ability score off the dribble. Max attacks the basket hard, and rebounds the ball well, leading to second chance put backs. Max is also a good passer, and sees the floor well. On defense max can defend positions 1-4. Max is a player coaches should watch this high school season.

Finn Sullivan, Newburyport, Position PG,

Finn is a True point Guard. He is a pass first player, who puts other players in good positions to make plays. Finn can run the offense, and he can also shoot the ball well. On defense Finn is very active, creating a lot of turnovers with his on ball defensive pressure. Finn is a player I think can take a big jump up this season and rase his stock.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081877" first="Holden" last="Symonds"], Governor’s Academy, Position PF, HT 6’7 Class Junior

Holden is a very high level talent and play maker. Holden has the skills and the game to play at the division 1 level. Holden can pretty much do it all. Holden is very athletic and built. Holden can play above the rim, and throw down big dunks, and protect the paint. Holden can also play on the wing. Holden has really improved his shooting making him a threat from all areas of the floor, and very tough to match up with. Holden can get by, and get to the basket on just about anyone. Holden has a ton of up side to his game, and is a must watch player.
