Our updated rankings at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania for the class of 2023 went "live" this week. An extremely large amount of high school players were ranked this time through, with over 300 juniors. Here at Prep Hoops, our scouts worked tirelessly to develop a comprehensive list of talented student-athletes for the Fall Rankings series. Let’s take an in-depth look at the young men who climbed the rankings this summer due to their work ethic and dedication to the sport of basketball.

+58...[player_tooltip player_id="1186472" first="Malachi" last="Manges"] / 6’1 / combo guard / Eden Christian Academy

Making the jump from spot #91 to #33 was an exceptional accomplishment for this young man. He has the quickness and athleticism to create opportunities not only for himself but his teammates throughout a game. Malachi can score in the half-court set and on the fast break while getting to the basket for strong finishes at the hoop.

+15...[player_tooltip player_id="1186473" first="Sean" last="Aiken"] / 6’0 / point guard / Eden Christian Academy

This high IQ performer made the leap from position #102 to spot #87 for our current update for his 2023 class. His ability to cause havoc on the defensive end of the floor with toughness and tenacity make it difficult for opponents to score on him during man-to-man defense. Sean likes to run the floor in transition and has a quality jump shot.

9...[player_tooltip player_id="991365" first="Dante" last="DePante"] / 6’2 / point guard / Central Catholic High School

He continued to impress on the AAU scene this summer and will look to lead his high school this season as the main option. The climb from position #26 to #17 for the current rankings live update proved his hard work is not going unnoticed. Dante has a division 1 offer and is garnering more and more interest from a good amount of schools on different levels.

9...[player_tooltip player_id="991397" first="Dre" last="Vacich"] / 6’0 / combo guard / Central Valley High School

Climbing from #61 to spot #52 in the rankings was a definite result of his improved skillset during the offseason making him a better well-rounded player. The ball security and precision passing displayed during games will create more opportunities for his teammates. Dre has an above-average perimeter shot with an extremely quick release which makes it difficult to get quality close-outs on the defensive end of the court.

8...[player_tooltip player_id="1116023" first="Connor" last="Spratt"] / 6’1 / point guard / Seton LaSalle High School

With the move up in the rankings from #40 to position #32, this fundamentally skilled guard continued to develop his game on the AAU circuit. His transfer to Seton LaSalle HS should give him more chances to showcase his abilities on the court. Connor will look to have a solid junior season this winter and that can lead to more movement within the rankings for the next update from this young man.

7...[player_tooltip player_id="991361" first="Matt" last="Stanley"] / 6’0 / point guard / Union High School

The knowledge of the game and the ability to come through in the clutch are two strong assets of this high-level performer. The rise in the rankings from #51 to #44 has proven that hard work and dedication will pay off in the long run if you stay persistent. Matt is a coach’s son, which on the court helps him be a leader for his team throughout a contest.

5...[player_tooltip player_id="1186052" first="Adam" last="Bilinsky"] / 6’3 / wing forward / Norwin High School

He has shown time and time again on the court the initiative to do whatever it takes to help his team become successful. His jump from #24 to spot #19 put him in a position to keep rising by the next update from Prep Hoops PA. Adam has an offer from the division 2 level and definitely will attract more attention moving forward with his strong performances during the high school season.
