It’s obvious when you watch him that Wagemester is a coach’s son. He positions himself well on both ends of the floor and, like most players on this team, is a really good team defender who can provide some versatility on that end of the floor with his toughness and length. Offensively he’s a good passer and secondary ball-handler who is at his best when he’s getting to the rim.

All-around athlete who competes in several different sports. Has nice speed, size, and athleticism on the floor. Decent handle while usually keeping his head up while attacking. Hard-worker. Seems to always come to play with a positive attitude. Definition of a team-first player.

Wagemester seems to really take pride in his defense, sitting in his stance and moving his feet really well on that end of the floor. He’s a competitor who does a great job battling on the glass on both ends of the floor, and he’s a really good and willing passer with great court vision. He’s the type of player who isn’t going to blow you away with any one thing that he does, but he’s going to do everything well, limit mistakes, and contribute to a winning team at any level.
