Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Michael had a solid game against Kennedy, scoring 15 points on 5-11 shooting (3-5 3P, 2-2 FT) with 4 rebounds and an assist. A quick guard with a high IQ, he doesn’t force anything and is able to get to his spots off the dribble. He’s a good shooter off the bounce who gets the ball into his shooting pocket quickly, elevating into his jumper, and he has a pure stroke from deep. In most Hudson games, he’s a bit more of a facilitator than a scorer first, but against the best team in the state, the Pirates needed him to be assertive as a scorer and he was solid in that regard. He’s a smart guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands and will help a D3 program.

Read EvaluationTony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
A quick, high IQ lead guard, Michael put up 13.9 points and 3.7 assists on 44-43-73 shooting splits last season at Independence. He will play his senior year at Hudson, making the Pirates one of the best teams in the class. His ability to play with or without the ball in his hands will fit in really well with the other weapons that Hudson possesses.
