The Prep Hoops MD/DC recently updated the class of 2022 rankings and it was not an easy process. Below are five prospects that I think could prove us wrong this upcoming season in where we ranked them.

[player_tooltip player_id="837921" first="Devin" last="Dinkins"] | 5’10 | Gonzaga

The first guy that jumps out right away for me is George Mason pledge, [player_tooltip player_id="837921" first="Devin" last="Dinkins"]. Dinkins is going to be running the show for Steve Turner this year and already has a lot of big game experience in the WCAC. I expect Dinkins to put up some very high numbers this year for the Purple Eagles.

Ranking: 17

[player_tooltip player_id="1049815" first="Travis" last="Roberts"] | 6’5 | Bishop Walsh

There has been a lot of intrigue with Roberts early on in his high school career as he has good size standing at 6’5. Roberts plays with good energy, is a good defender that can guard multiple positions and can make an array of shots. Roberts should have a big year for Bishop Walsh while playing a national schedule.

Ranking: 36

[player_tooltip player_id="904639" first="Gideon" last="Sahlen"] | 6’8 | Bullis

Sahlen has now been with Bullis for a few years now and has made a name for himself playing for Bruce Kelly and Team Takeover. Gideon has good touch around the rim and will be asked to do a lot in the low post for Bullis. Defensively, he is a solid rim protector that is capable of blocking multiple shots a game.

Ranking: 53
