Nolan Bessire Nolan Bessire 6'9" | PF Montgomery | 2022 State CA-N 6’9 of Montgomery HS.
Bessire has steadily improved his game each season. He’s been an aggressive rebounder, and defender, who’ll change some shots with his inside activity. Overtime he’s added some offense to his game. His footwork in the post helps him score inside. He runs the court with good effort, and he’s improved his shot on the outside.
Anthony Williams Anthony Williams 6'8" | PF Inderkum | 2022 State CA-N 6’8 of Inderkum HS.
Williams we think has a good upside, late bloomer ? With his size, and frame you can say with more skill development, and patience, he has a chance to be a next level player at the forward position. He’s developing his 3-point shot. Right now he’s most effective on the defensive side of the ball. He’s has rim protector written all over him. His offensive rebounding is notable. With more effort, and consistency, he’s a double-double guy at this level.
Marcellus Franklin Marcellus Franklin 6'6" | PF Sheldon | 2022 State CA-N 6’6 of Sheldon HS.
At 6’6 he’ll add needed size to his new team. He’s somewhat experienced playing in the post area. He’s a good rebounder, he’ll finish taking it up strong inside. He’s a player that can stick the free throw jumper, and 3-pointer in the corner on occasion. He can get to the rim off one or two dribbles. He’ll defend the perimeter, and post.
Ron Jones Jr Ron Jones Jr 6'7" | PF Oakland Tech | 2022 NV , of Oakland Tech HS.
We’re looking for a breakout season from Jones Jr. He’s a tough minded player who can defend in the post, changing and blocking a few with his long wingspan. He closes out pretty well on perimeter shooters. He will get his fair share of rebounds, and will handle in open court at times. He has a good looking mid-range jumper, and will take the 3-point shot if left alone.
Milo Goehring Milo Goehring 6'7" | PF Nevada Grass Union | 2022 State CA-N 6’7 of Nevada Union HS.
Goerhring has a decent set of skills around the basket. He sets solid screens for shooters, and works well in pick and roll situations sliding to the basket. He’s effective at the high post with good passing, and ability to get to the rim with one dribble, or stick the free throw jump shot. He has 3-point range. He’s a big body who’ll rebound, being more physical will elevate his game.
Thomas Labat Thomas Labat 6'7" | PF Dublin | 2022 State CA-N 6’7 of Dublin HS.
Labat is moving in an upward trend and has put himself on the radar with his productive spring and summer. He’ll be a key component for a team expected to be in the hunt for post season honors. Standing 6’7 he’s made good progress on the offensive side of the ball. An improved jump shot out to the 3-point line, and low post scoring. If we see effort as a rim protector, and rebounder on the defensive side of the ball, his stock will rise
Will Heimbrodt Will Heimbrodt 6'7" | PF Archie Williams (Sir Francis Drake) | 2022 State CA-N 6’7 of Archie Williams HS
Heimbrodt has been on a steady rise since the spring an summer playing in quality events during the live periods. The square shouldered forward has attracted the attention of DII programs, and is looking for more. He’s stronger, more active and has some bounce to his game. He’s an aware player with good length, and activity on both ends. He has an improving set of skills, and is playing with confidence.
Kai Wallin Kai Wallin 6'5" | PF Jesuit | 2022 State CA-N 6’5 of Jesuit HS
Wallin is probably going to play football at the next level. He’s plays with good balance, and has strength to be an effective post player on the court. He has good foot work in the paint, and will get his points in the 10 to 12ft range. He has a nice jumper up close and on the baseline. He looks to throw down dunks when he’s balanced and gathers himself. He’ll hold his own defending taller players in the post area. He’ll work for rebounds.
