3P Creme of the County: 2025 and 2026 Standouts, Part 2

<p>For the first time since 2019, San Diego basketball player took the floor in the 3P Creme of the County, a one-day showcase aimed at giving players a chance to showcase their talents in front of a bevy of media and scouts.</p> <p>(Full Disclosure: it’s my event. No, seriously, it is)</p> <p>It was great to be able to host the daylong event, and see so many of the region’s top players competing. </p> <p>In our final series of dispatches, we look at the youngest players on hand, from the classes of 2025 and 2026, and discuss some of the standouts we saw. That list includes Gavin Guinn, Kevon Fitzpatrick and Jayden Wade, who were featured in earlier stories. </p> <h2>3P Creme of the County: 2025 and 2026 Standouts, Part 2</h2> <h3>PJ Jourdain, 5-11 2025 G, Mater Dei Catholic</h3> <p>Jourdain is one of the more intriguing 2025 players in the class. At this stage, his game is predominantly spot-up shooting, but he has broad shoulders, big feet, long arms and high hips and waist that indicate that he's nowhere near done growing. </p> <h3>Isaac Webb. 6-1 2025 G, San Diego</h3> <p>Webb was a player who when I re-watched the game I came away more impressed. He has great build, exceptional lateral quickness (especially on defense) and has emerging ball skills. His game was unfortunately cut short by a knee injury, but when he returns to the court, he is among the more impressive prospects in the class. </p> <h3>Jimmy LaVine, 6-0 2025 G, St. Augustine</h3> <p>Lavine won't wow you with his build or his athleticism, but he was one of the more productive players in the game. A downhill guard who can finish through contact, knock down threes off the catch and rebounds very well for his size. Had one of the biggest wingspan spreads of that grade too (6-3 wingspan). </p> <h3>David Turner Jr., 5-11 2025 G, Oceanside</h3> <p>Turner looks like a linebacker, but uses his size and strength to his advantage to get into the paint and finish through contact. He is also a very stout on-ball defender. </p> <h3>David Metu, 6-4 2025 F, Corona Centennial</h3> <p>Metu made a big impression coming down to San Diego for the day. Possessing great size and length, assertive scoring and rebounding instincts and the ability to push the ball in transition, Metu was a mismatch for many of the bigs on hand. </p> <h3>Deacon Botts, 5-10 2025 G, Mayfair </h3> <p>Botts was another out-of-area prospect who shined in the 2025 game. He has very good burst in the half court and can get into the paint at will, where he doubles as a solid scorer and creator. He also has very deep range from three, hitting three college-range threes in the process. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
