A South Dakota State commit who dominates the game on both ends of the floor, Te Slaa is an easy pick for the POY honors in this loaded league. He's the focal point of a Boyden-Hull team that will be looking to add another state title to their trophy case after a disappointing state championship game loss last year.

First Team

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="682290" first="Tanner" last="Te Slaa"], Boyden-Hull: 21.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.9 steals, 53.1 FG%, 81.0 FT%

A high IQ 6-5 wing who dominates the game on both ends of the floor with his talent, size, and intelligence, Te Slaa does a great job playing with pace and letting the game come to him.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="682280" first="Lucas" last="Lorenzen"], Okoboji: 23.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, 41.8 3P%, 79.1 FT%

Lorenzen played in just 11 games last season, but he has established himself as one of the best pure scoring threats in the state. With his combination of size, strength, and touch, he can fill it up in a hurry from all three levels.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1253020" first="Zach" last="Lutmer"], Central Lyon: 20.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.2 steals, 58.3 FG%, 45.2 3P%

Also a standout on the gridiron, Lutmer scores in bunches at a highly efficient clip. He can get to the bucket, is a knockdown 3-point shooter and is second among returnees in assists a game.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962615" first="Vance" last="Katzfey"], Boyden-Hull: 15.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.1 steals, 50.6 FG%

A transfer from Spirit Lake, Katzfey is another athletic wing who can score in bunches. He should take some of the scoring pressure off of Te Slaa this season.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1158431" first="Landyn" last="Van Kekerix"], Rock Valley: 16.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 2.5 steals, 51.0 FG%

An efficient guard who does most of his scoring inside the arc, Van Kekerix led the Rockets in scoring and rebounding last season, while also leading the team in steals. He gets to the rim and finishes through contact at a high level, and uses his athleticism and physicality to compete on the glass on both ends of the floor.

Second Team

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962672" first="Bryson" last="Van Grootheest"], Rock Valley

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1167713" first="Ayden" last="Klein"], MOC-Floyd Valley

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962670" first="Christian" last="Vietor"], Sioux Center

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962637" first="Mason" last="Gerleman"], Central Lyon

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1158498" first="Shane" last="Brouwer"], Sheldon
