With the high school season fast approaching, there are plenty of players who are still underrated in the 2022 class and this series is for college coaches who are still looking for players in the VA area!

We will look at some of the most underrated scholarship level players still available in the state of VA. Here’s a look at part one of the underrated scholarship wings in the senior class.

[player_tooltip player_id="815587" first="George" last="Beal"] | 6’4” | King’s Fork

Beal picked up his first offer this summer running with BWSL Boo Crew and was one of the top prospects in the prestigious Hoop Group HGSL. With the departure of Jayden Epps to Combine, it will be his team this year and he’ll be able to show his two way impact. He’s a high motor wing with good size and athleticism, he plays well above the rim and he’s improved as a shot maker over the past few years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1217448" first="Anthony" last="Davis"] | 6’5” | Miller School

Davis is starting to get on radars after a big summer in both the high school and AAU live periods, and now that he’s back in VA he’ll be one of the top players in the VISAA this year. He’s an uber athletic wing that plays well above the rim, he can play and guard multiple positions and rebounds well and he’s an underrated shooter who can make shots too.

[player_tooltip player_id="1107825" first="Carmelo" last="Pacheco"] | 6’4” | Spotswood

Pacheco is one of the top players in the Harrisonburg area and it’s shocking to me he doesn’t hold more scholarship offers. While he isn’t the most athletic guy Pacheco has good size on the wing and great instincts on both ends, he’s a big time shooter with deep range and the ability to get hot and take over games and he is very consistent and has played well almost every time I’ve seen him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1107833" first="Georges" last="Archer"] | 6’5” | Princess Anne

Archer is a player I’ve watched grow from a 5’11” scrawny 14 year old to a 6’5” man child of a wing that is one of the most explosive athletes in the 757. He has a great frame and is very strong on both ends, he has the ability to catch and shoot from deep and when he’s making shots he can attack closeouts and when he gets downhill he can play way above the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="962796" first="Nate" last="Pabis"] | 6’4” | Flint Hill

Pabis has steadily grown into one of the most skilled wings in the NOVA area, and it’s about time that coaches start to take notice of just how good he is. The 6’4” wing is a two way impact player that is more athletic than he looks, he is a big time shooter who is consistent and has good range and he has good feel and instincts and consistently makes winning plays.
