Elijah Price Elijah Price 6'8" | PF St. Anthony | 2022 State CA-S , 2022, St. Anthony – Price continues to be an under-recruited prospect out west and we’re not sure why. The 6-foot-8 power forward/center is a high IQ defensive player who knows how to protect the rim. Offensively, Price has an improving back to the basket skill-set, good hands and feet on pick and roll and short-roll situations. If Price has a solid senior high school season, look for him to end up at the mid-major level.
Jalen Reed, 2022, Southern California Academy – Reed is a freakish athlete with a high motor which results in production each time he takes the floor. The 6-foot-9 wing/forward gets out in transition and glides in for paint finishes and poster dunks. In the half-court, Reed has the fluidity and ball skills to beat bigger, slower defenders off the bounce and to the rim for paint touches. Reed’s combination of leaping ability, and effort and energy, make him a great rebounder both in and out of his area.
Oziyah Sellers Oziyah Sellers 6'3" | SG Modesto Christian | 2022 #162 Nation CA-S , 2022, Southern California Academy – Sellers continues to show why he’s considered one of the elite jump shooters and overall scorers in the 2022 class. The recent USC commit dropped 30 points in the semifinals on 12-for-20 shooting, including six three-pointers and followed that up with 14 points with four triples in the third place game. The 6-foot-4 guard doesn’t need much time or space to get his shot off and his repeatable mechanics, along with his impressive lift, make him a dead-eye perimeter shooter.
Jaylen Thompson Jaylen Thompson 6'6" | SF Southern California Academy | 2022 CA-S , 2022, Southern California Academy – The long, wiry wing made his impact as a floor spacer from multiple spots behind the three-point line, and when closed on, he used his long strides and ball skills to cover ground efficiently to get to the rim for strong finishes. Thompson scored 15 points in his first game, 24 in his second game, and went 7-for-15 from deep overall.
Jordan Walsh Jordan Walsh 6'7" | SF Link Academy | 2022 #31 Nation MO , 2022, Southern California Academy – Walsh is widely known as one of the premier athletes, finishers, and dunkers around, but his overall skill-set is much more than that. The 6-foot-7 wing showed flashes of improved ball skills when breaking defenders down off the bounce and more confident in stepping back and taking a mid-range or three-point jumper.
Kijani Wright Kijani Wright 6'8" | PF Sierra Canyon | 2022 State #63 Nation CA-S , 2022, Sierra Canyon – There are a few things you know you’ll get out of Wright each time he takes the floor and those are physical, high motor effort plays. The 6-foot-8 forward isn’t afraid to mix it up in the painted area for rebounds on either end of the floor and is a mobile transition finisher. Wright uses his big frame nicely when setting screens to free up guards to turn the corner on ball-screen action. Wright is also a solid positional defender on the low block.
