The coach enters his 14th year at the school, 10 as an assistant and now 4 as the Head Man. During his tenor, which includes a State Title in 2020, Roberts has succeeded in creating a powerhouse culture. Affectionately known as the “Fly Fam”, the team rallies around the coach’s laser focused philosophy. “Our goals are to play together for a common purpose,” says Roberts. After losing 9 seniors from last year’s 19 win squad, those goals will be put to the test this season. While seemingly a daunting task for some, the optimistic Coach has a much different View. “We have an opportunity for more coaching success through working harder” “If we get the guys to buy into Fly Fam we will reach our goals”
HC: Tyler_ Roberts 4th Year
Division: 4A
2020-2021 Record: 19-5

Grant Carter Grant Carter 6'1" | CG Dixie | 2023 State UT 5’11 CG 2023 – The coach describes Carter’s game as “unorthodox” While an apt description, you must also include the words effective when discussing the junior guards game. Carter will handle multiple backcourt duties and showed the ability to use his “unorthodox” game to create plays for himself and his teammates during the scrimmage.
Risko Brooks Risko Brooks 6'1" | CG Dixie | 2022 State UT 6’0 SG 2022 – Brooks should see increased minutes this season. The Slovakia native contributed last year but has the chance to be play an even larger role this season. His quickness is tangible and instantly jumped out during the scrimmage. He list “Making everyone else better” as his team goal. A high academic prospect, Brooks currently carries a 4.0 GPA.
Key Newcomers:
Kyle Lemke Kyle Lemke 6'9" | C Dixie | 2024 State UT 6’7 C 2024 – Saw a lot of Lemke during the Grassroots season. He credits coach Roberts with instilling his signature skill in him. His rim running stood out this summer, and he’s embraced it even more. The 6’7 post will team with 2023 C Kean Webb Kean Webb 6'10" | C American Fork | 2023 State UT , to provide frontcourt depth for the squad.
Sleepers:
Camron Dyer 6’5 PF 2022 – Dyer is a newcomer who comes to the team from Rochester New York. After spending time playing for the Las Vegas Punishers in the summer, the high flyer instantly provides an infusion of athleticism to the team. He describes himself as an “All-Around two-way player that Just wants to Win” He blocked several shots in the scrimmage, making him one of my leading candidates for the state’s top undersized rim protector.
Top Prospects:
Kean Webb Kean Webb 6'10" | C American Fork | 2023 State UT 6’9 C 2023 – It could be a breakout season for Webb. He wasn’t at the workout, however, he will be expected to be one of the Flight’s main contributors.
