Houser has continued to see his college interest soar heading into his senior season. He had a strong summer with Indy Heat Red and has proven himself as a pure scorer and shooter against high-level competition. Anytime you come across a 6’4″-6’5″ prospect with his level of skill both as a guy who can be a secondary playmaker off of the dribble and a catch-and-shoot threat beyond the arc it is going to attract a lot of college attention. He currently lists offers from Bethel, Grace, Indiana Tech, Lake Superior State, Mid-American Nazarene, Northwood, and Tiffin.

There is a lot to like about this highly-skilled guard. He has good size on the perimeter, is an excellent three-point shooter, and handles the ball well enough to serve as a secondary playmaker in the half court. Houser has brought in several NAIA and Division II offers over the last year or so and continues to be recruited heavily at that level. Anytime you have that mixture of size and skill on the perimeter it makes you a very intriguing prospect.

We often think of this 6’4″-6’5″ guard as a catch-and-shoot threat who scores it from the perimeter. While he is very good at playing that role, Hauser is so much more than that offensively. That was on display Friday night at Turnstone – Plassman Athletic Center against Ohio Bucket – Young. The bigger guard showcased his playmaking skills off of the dribble proving he can not only act as a secondary playmaker but potentially even filling in with point guard duties as well.

College coaches are always looking for shooting and Houser is as good as they come from beyond the arc. At 6’4″, he has great size on the wing and can absolute stroke it from three-point range with a quick release. He also handles the ball well enough to act as a secondary playmaker or create his own shot off of the bounce. Had a good weekend scoring it for Indy Heat Red 2024.
