Chase Cummings Chase Cummings 6'3" | PG East Troy | 2022 State WI – PG – East Troy/Wisconsin Rap
Cummings is an uptempo guard with a downhill, get to the rim mentality. The East Troy product has a nice motor to him, can finish with either hand, and takes contact really well at the rim. Last season, Cummings averaged about 19 points per game for a very strong Trojan squad. Always looking to push and attack, Cummings is going to make defenses use a collective effort to stop him. He does a great job of making himself available off the miss and giving his bigs a clear target to jumpstart the break.
Noah Feddersen Noah Feddersen 6'9" | PF Menomonie | 2022 State WI – PF – Menomonie/Wisconsin Playmakers
It just started to really come together for Feddersen over the summer. The 6-foot-8 forward landed his first Division 1 scholarship offer from American and UW-Green Bay followed suit on Aug. 19. An athletic and mobile forward, Feddersen had some dominant games in the paint. He’s an explosive leaper and runs the floor very well for his size. Feddersen can score efficiently with his back to the basket, but is also showing flashes of being able to shoot from the outside, handle the ball on the perimeter, and create some matchup problems.
Dan Gherezgher Dan Gherezgher 6'1" | SG Brookfield East | 2022 State WI – SG – Brookfield East/JH1 Elite
Gherezgher could very well be one of the state’s top scorers in 2021-22. The 6-foot-2 senior can absolutely fill it up offensively and has a deep bag of tricks. One of the top shot creators in the state, Gherezgher is outstanding at setting defenders up off the dribble, getting them thinking one thing and then doing the other. A long, athletic guard with a quick release, Gherezgher picked up a pair of Division 2 offers from UW-Parkside and Michigan Tech.
Jack Jorgensen Jack Jorgensen 6'2" | SG Depere | 2022 State WI – SG – De Pere/Wisconsin Crusaders
Jorgensen is just shooting the ball way too well. The De Pere sniper was good for 4-5 triples per game over the spring/summer and those kinds of efforts were consistent. An open 3-pointer is like a layup for Jorgensen, who also does a great job of sprinting the floor in transition and setting up shop on the wings or corners before the defense can set up themselves. He’ll likely make his living from beyond the arc, but Jorgensen has improved his ability to attack off the dribble and will get some buckets at the rim.
Caiden Lecce Caiden Lecce 6'0" | CG Minneapolis Southwest | 2022 State WI – G – Kenosha St. Joseph/D.F. Elite
A skilled, high volume scorer that can put up big numbers offensively, Lecce is a dangerous shooter and a crafty finisher around the rim. He’s got the ability to put a team on his back offensively. The lefty has a knack for creating and making difficult shots. This is a very confident scoring guard who can create in different ways. The type of prospect that’s willing to take and make a lot of shots during the course of a game and never gets too high or too low off each attempt, Lecce appears to be a nice small school pickup as someone who can be a go-to scorer at that level.
Ryan Sweeney Ryan Sweeney 6'2" | CG Gb East | 2022 State WI – G – Green Bay East/Team 1848
Sweeney went out to Vegas and just dominated for a week. One of those prospects that doesn’t look the part nor does he draw a lot of attention to himself, Sweeney is an absolute killer. A sneaky athletic guard and a rapidly improving shooter, Sweeney plays with his foot on the gas pedal for every minute he’s on the floor. Sweeney has good size at 6-foot-2, can play above the rim, and can fly in the open floor. Think he’ll have some chances to earn Division 2 offers during his senior season.
L.J. Wells L.J. Wells 6'5" | SF Eau Claire Memorial | 2022 State WI – SF – Eau Claire Memorial/Wisconsin Playmakers
A prospect that just gets better and better, Wells is emerging quickly. The scary part? He’s still got a ton of upside left. The 6-foot-7 wing is a smooth, athletic prospect whose flashes are becoming more consistent. Wells is at his best in the open floor or when he catches in the high post, rips to his left hand, and slashes to the bucket. With his measurables, Wells can impact the game in a lot of ways on both ends of the floor. Skill work and jump shooting are still coming along, but I like the trend Wells is on and whoever signs him could end up hitting the jackpot in a few years.
