The new 2022 rankings are out.

We dive into the positional rankings. We move over to the centers for the senior class.

This group has size, skill and strength.

Here are the top-8 C’s in the 2022 class:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="826994" first="Adrame" last="Diongue"] AZ Compass Prep (Pictured)

One of the top shot blockers on the West Coast. He is a top-tier rim runner and rebounds high above the crowd. He is a high level dunker and what impressed me recently is his shot is looking better and better. His FT stroke look more crisp and he anchors the Dragons on D.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="701228" first="Dylan" last="Anderson"] Perry

The big man has a pure stroke from mid-range to the 3pt line. Not many on the West Coast have his size and skill. He rebounded the ball well recently and is starting to rip through and post up more. He uses hook shots with his left or right hand and is an above the rim player.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="703808" first="Duke" last="Brennan"] Hillcrest Prep

One of the more physical post players in the region. He plays with a huge motor and loves the contact. He grabs out of area rebounds with his desire and uses his strength and advanced post footwork to score it in the paint.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="1216129" first="Max" last="Allen"] AZ Compass Prep

Another physically strong post player has a nice touch. He can shoot it with range beyond the 3pt line and has soft hands and a nice touch to score it with his back to the basket.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="809683" first="Nicholas" last="Riley"] Phhoenix Prep

A strong true post player is more of that back to the basket type. He has huge hands and good length to score it and rebound. He has lost some weight and looks to be shaping up his body.

6. [player_tooltip player_id="826995" first="Jeremiah" last="Cherry"] St. Mary’s

A massive post player with big mitts. He can score on hook shots, he can hit the occasional 3pt shot and throw it down on the break.

7. [player_tooltip player_id="809704" first="Myles" last="Hersha"] SoAZ Volz

A quickly growing post player can shoot it, score it with nice post moves and is playing above the rim. He did unfortunately get injured and may miss some time this upcoming season.

8. [player_tooltip player_id="1033021" first="Chris" last="Long"] Vista Grande

A face-up five-man can shoot it with range. He has a sturdy frame and will fight inside for position to rebound. He can put the ball on the deck a little to create his own shot.
