CHSAA Team Camp Underclassman
<p>The team camp the Chsaa presented at Iona Prep was filled with a vast majority of talent. Today our scouting report is geared to some of the under-the-radar younger players.</p>
<p><strong>Tristan Rogers. 5”10. 2024 Nazareth HS</strong></p>
<p>Tremendous skill set. Excellent handle. High basketball IQ. Draws defenders and then makes the right play. Lacking varsity experience but should adjust quickly.</p>
<p><strong>Juelz Dickerson 6”3. 2023. Nazareth HS</strong></p>
<p>Very impressed with him at the spring tournament. Long player. Excellent court vision.Smart player. Does a lot of good things on the court. Quick, but very poised at the same time. Real good athlete who can really stroke it.</p>
<p><strong>Kerri Cunningham. 6”4. 2024. Nazareth HS</strong></p>
<p>A big-bodied bruiser. Terrific work ethic. Will do what it takes to win games. Big upside.</p>
<p><strong>Kestin Lewis-Weir. 6”2. 2024. Nazareth HS</strong></p>
<p>A glue guy. Tremendous communicator. High IQ combined with court vision and awareness.</p>
<p><strong>Matt Frost. 6”2. 2023. St Edmunds HS</strong></p>
<p>Old school physical player. Does the dirty work. Battles on every possession. Has a real nice baseline jumper. Working on defending without fouling.</p>
<p><strong>Malik Wilson. 5”8. 2024. St. Edmunds HS</strong></p>
<p>Excellent at creating for others. But also has the ability to knock down shots. Can flat out score the ball from the point guard position. Working on improving his defense.</p>
<p><strong>Jordan Boreman. 6”2. 2024. St. Edmunds HS</strong></p>
<p>A player to know. Very high skill set. Passing ability off the charts. Very athletic. Sees the floor really well. Huge upside. Will be a major player in the chsaa. Working on is perimeter shooting.</p>
<p><strong>Devyn Kale. 5”10. 2025. Lasalle Academy</strong></p>
<p>Devyn was too young to play yet for his high school. But because of a conversation with coach Pannell. I felt it was important to give our readers a preview of this young player. Can handle the ball with either hand. Highly skilled player. Basketball IQ is beyond his years. Can score the ball. Does everything at a high skill level. How quickly he adjusts to the physical top talent in the chsaa will dictate how long it takes for him to be a top player in the city.</p>
