Though some would be tempted to spend all of their time admiring the beauty of nature, these players and basketball programs still find a way to devote enough time to making their teams the best that they can be. As the next season approaches, many of these programs will look to make a run at the state tournament before spending their summers enjoying time at the alpine lakes. Kase Wynott Kase Wynott 6'6" | SF Lapwai | 2024 State ID , Lapwai: Kase quickly established himself as one of the best players in the state at any level after being a leader for Lapwai all season long. Wynott was one of the key reasons that Lapwai was able to bring home a state championship and he will continue to have an impact next season as well. Wynott has been working this offseason in order to improve his shooting consistency to make himself an even tougher cover for opposing defenders. Kase has a great feeling for the game and he will be quite exciting to watch for the next few seasons.
Luke Krogh Luke Krogh 5'11" | PG Kamiah | 2022 State ID , Kamiah: Luke has already had a solid prep career for Kamiah and will look to make a splash this season in a final attempt to bring home a state championship trophy. Krogh has already proven his ability to be a great leader on the court and he is working this offseason to improve his ball-handling skills in order to help his team out further. Krogh plays his hardest every time he steps on the floor and his effort has helped win may close games. Watch for Luke to make great strides this season.
Kross Taylor Kross Taylor 6'3" | SG Lapwai | 2022 State ID , Lapwai: Taylor has been having a great career at Lapwai so far and he will look to finish his career on a high note by securing another state championship. Taylor has a high basketball IQ and is always in great shape. He can get up and down the floor in a hurry and is never tired. Kross is a player that any coach would love to have on their roster and he has been working to make his game more consistent across the board.
