Kahlil Singleton, Oregon Prospects 2022 (2023 Loomis Chaffee)
Singleton was hands down one of the top scorers in the entire event. He caught fire for stretches from three and also used his body to create off the dribble and finish through contact. Singleton did all this scoring without necessarily forcing the issue or dominating the ball. Head coaches from Idaho and Montana were some of the several that watched him play the entire weekend.
Ty May Ty May 6'6" | PF Philomath | 2023 State OR , Oregon Prospects 16U White (2023 Philomath)
An athletic big man, May ran the floor well and wasn’t afraid to throw his body around on both ends of the floor. He was extremely aggressive offensively and in addition to putting up shots inside he also stepped out to show some touch from the perimeter. Decision making and shot selection will continue to be an emphasis moving forward.
Amare Rolle, Oregon Prospects 16U White (2023 Westview)
Rolle didn’t get many touches with the offense, so he sought the ball by going hard on the offensive glass and was rewarded with some put-back buckets. The 6-foot-4 swingman has a pretty nice looking stroke from the perimeter and hit a couple of catch-and-shoot outside jumpers.
Ryan Schleicher Ryan Schleicher 5'7" | PG Tualatin | 2023 State OR , Oregon Prospects 16U White (2023 Tualatin)
Schleicher may be a smaller point guard, but like many his size he knows how to score over bigger opponents. He was able to break down defenders off the dribble, preferring to do so to his left, and often looked for open teammates along the perimeter.
Marchon Marshall Marchon Marshall 5'10" | PG Westview | 2023 OR , Oregon Prospects 16U White (2023 Westview)
Marshall had a solid overall floor game and did a good job bringing the ball up against opposing defensive pressure. He looked to create and was willing to take the open shot when given the opportunity.
Nathan Hoisington, Oregon Prospects 16U Gold (2023 Mountain View)
Hoisington made plays for the 16U Gold team all weekend, especially on the boards and on the defensive end. In the latter stages of one game, he made a couple big steals to help the team advance into overtime.
