Blut finished the season with close to a 20pt average. He was a CG that contributed in many ways. A good ball handler with change of directions on the drives to the basket from different angles. He can handle contact. He’s an excellent 3pt shooter, he’s fast pushing the ball up court. He runs the offense on occasion.

We didn’t see much of Blut in the Spring and Summer. He did enough during the high school season (12pts a gm)for us to add him to the rankings. He’s a quality guard with a good set of skills, plays at a good pace, under control. He can run the point with good vision and passing. He’s got some tools to put points on the board.

Blut is an exciting basketball player. I like the way that he’s willing to give it up and trust that it’s coming back when he finds open space on the perimeter. Blut is tremendous off the catch and shoot, featuring a quick release and a consistent motion. He’s shown the ability to attack the rim off the bounce, finishing off both 1 and 2 feet.
