Las Vegas Basketball Royalty: Bigs And Wings

<p>The Las Vegas Basketball Royalty took place on July 9th – 11th. The event hosted by legendary operator Gary Charles featured several Shoe Circuit clubs looking to prep for this week’s Peach Jam.  All games were live-streamed courtesy of the 7outz Network <a href="https://seasoncast.com/prephoops2/recordings">Channel 2</a> and <a href="https://seasoncast.com/prephoops3/recordings">Channel 3</a>. The event featured several talented Big Men. In this event, we take a look at the top Bigs from the event. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1041564" first="Daniel" last="Rouzan"] <em>6’8 PF Vegas Elite 2022</em> <em>(featured image)</em> - Rouzan is an absolute Bull. The technical term is "country strong". Rouzan was unstoppable down low banging into opponents on his way to the rim. For a guy with his power, he possesses marvelous feet. Rouzan can turn over either shoulder and displayed the power to absorb contact before finishing at the rim. </p> <p><strong>Trey Edmonds</strong> <em>6’8 PF Salt Lake Rebels 2021</em> - Edmonds is a physical specimen that played through his opponents. He was the perfect example of someone utilizing the dunker spot, finishing entry passes with thunderous slams. With his explosiveness, size, and power Edmonds is an attractive recruit that has received interest from Oregon St, Eastern Illinois, and ODU. </p> <p><strong>Tee Bartlett</strong> <em>6’10 C Team Why Not 2025</em> - This was my first look at Bartlett in person. The young center is a powerful athlete that draws double and triple teams. Even with that, he was able to burst through and finish around the rim. He showed some explosion, competitiveness and played with a good motor. </p> <p><strong>Andrew Meadows</strong> <em>6’7 SF Vegas Elite 2023</em> - Meadows was one of the most skilled wings at the event. He prefers to play on the perimeter, driving to the basket or stepping out and shooting 3’s. The bespectacled forward is the prototypical small-ball 4, showing stretch and skill ability from the position. </p> <p><strong>Lejuan Watts</strong> <em>6’5 SF EBO 2022</em> - Watts was a casual scorer. He was efficient when left open, and managed to create for himself off the dribble. He was too big for guards on the box, and too skilled for bigs out on the floor. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1041560" first="Darrion" last="Williams"] <em>6’7 PF Vegas Elite 2022</em> - I was happy to see Williams play this weekend. The skilled 4 missed Section 7 but returned with avengence. He battled through a nagging injury, carving up defenses with his passing and playmaking.
