Prep Hoops continues its coverage from the SCBCA #SCLive2021 played this past weekend in Rock Hill. Who were some of the better guards from the 2023 Palmetto State that were in attendance ? Read more in this article right here.

[player_tooltip player_id="865341" first="Trai" last="White"] - Gray Collegiate (pictured on front)

White was really on his game this weekend for the War Eagles. White NEVER turns the ball over in the backcourt. Trai is a pesky defender who constantly brings havoc to opposing players. Trai finished with his left-hand on the break today when he wasn’t knocking down a open shot.

[player_tooltip player_id="922023" first="Horace" last="Jacques"] - Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS

Jacques is just one part of a great combo in the backcourt for the Bruins with [player_tooltip player_id="650231" first="Jordan" last="Simpson"]. Jacques will finish at the basket on contact while bring some swag and confidence to the court.

[player_tooltip player_id="1107730" first="Makhi" last="Rivers"] - Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant)

Rivers really likes to get the ball into the gaps and make plays happen for the Landsharks. Rivers a point guard plays the game at good pace and always seems to be under control while on the floor. Rivers really likes to get his teammates involved when he’s not pulling up for a jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id="1036976" first="Grayson" last="Kirk"] - Lancaster HS

Kirk has been solid all spring long with his play on the hardwood. Kirk knows when to attack the cup or stop and pop from the mid-range. Grayson really does a good job from scoring the ball from all 3 levels on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="865334" first="CJ" last="Rich"] - Spring Valley HS

Rich is the future of the Vikings basketball program along with some of the younger talent for Head Coach Cypheus Bunton. Rich has a very good feel for the game and the ability to knockdown shots. CJ plays the game extremely unselfish from the backcourt with a pass first mentality.

[player_tooltip player_id="1222628" first="Donovan" last="Boyles"] - Greenwood HS

Boyles was a new name for Prep Hoops this weekend. Boyles was able to connect on some three pointers when he wasn’t diving on the floor for a loose ball. Boyles brought a scrappy attitude to the floor along with a quick shot release.

[player_tooltip player_id="1214162" first="Ryan" last="Lominack"] - Dreher HS

Lominack is a SHOOTER. Ryan has a great form and shot release from behind the arc. Lominack shoots the ball at a very high clip and really takes high percentage shots. Ryan pulled a 1-2 dribble pull-up jumper on few occasions today.

[player_tooltip player_id="948063" first="Desmond" last="Evans"] - Aiken HS

Evans brings constant energy to the floor and never seems to leave the floor for the Hornets. Evans isn’t flashy at anything he really does but there is no lack of effort on his part that’s for sure.
