<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top Class of 2021 point guards from last weekend’s Prep Hoops Live extravaganza in Kansas City.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="991576" first="I’Ryan" last="Allen"] 6’2" KC Spurs Black: An excellent two-way performer from Ruskin who has a high basketball IQ. He plays fast, but he’s very smooth and efficient in his movements. He can break down defenders off the dribble for layups or knock down 3-pointers. He can also impact the game defensively with his quickness and length.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="984512" first="Brian" last="Taylor"] 6’4" Gateway: The big point guard from DeSmet had an impressive weekend with his combination of size, athleticism and basketball IQ. He can create for others and score on a nice pull up jumper. Defensively, he is one of the best around with his length and anticipation.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="993520" first="Messias" last="Dockery"] 5’11" 816 Hoops: A talented guard from Park Hill South who takes his defense very seriously. He uses his quickness to provide consistent on-ball pressure while also picking pockets of opposing ball handlers. He is just as effective on the offensive end with his speed and ability to score off the bounce.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="984957" first="Isaiah" last="Reams"] 5’11" Mid-Mo Elite: A smooth lefty from Mexico High who can operate at any pace. The lefty changes speeds well and can beat pressure off the dribble. He finishes well on the drive and he has a nice float game to boot.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="985421" first="Casen" last="Lawrence"] 5’10" Gateway: A slick performer from Westminster Christian who excels with and without the ball. His handles are tight and he can deliver pinpoint passes. He is a more than capable 3-point shooter who can come off a screen or create one off the dribble.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="984952" first="A’justin" last="Pearson"] 5’11 Show Me State Warriors: A quick guard from Lincoln Prep who is always impressive on the defensive end and last weekend was no exception. A tremendous on-ball defender who fuels his team’s pressure. He also pushes the pace on offense.</p>
