In this episode of "Newcomers to the Rankings", we will again take a look at some more 2024 prospects who have already shown glimpses of their full potential on the basketball court. A lot of these players have already contributed heavily within their high school programs and it is only a matter of time until they are handed the keys and able to truly become foundational members of the team. Continue reading for a look at some of the top newcomers to the rankings from the class of 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171733" first="Dylan" last="Nortz"], Priest River: Nortz will look to carve out a role on a very solid Priest River team in the upcoming seasons. Dylan can knock down the outside jumper and always has his hands in the passing or driving lanes to force steals and turnovers. Watch for Dylan to be a quality player at Priest River very shortly.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171734" first="Brecker" last="Williams"], Shelley: Brecker is one of a couple of great young players at Shelley who gained a lot of experience this past season. Williams has a very high ceiling and sees the game from a coach’s point of view. He has a high basketball IQ and can always see the next play before it happens.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171732" first="Ross" last="Ingersol"], Aberdeen: Aberdeen will be looking to their younger players to help continue their winning ways in upcoming seasons. Ingersol has a solid skill set that will be a great foundation for him as he starts his basketball journey at the varsity level. Watch for Ross to be one of the cornerstones for the Aberdeen basketball program very shortly.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171736" first="Carson" last="Wayment"], Minico: Wayment will aim to help Minico return to their dominance as a basketball program thanks to his poise and ability to score at will. Carson has a great understanding of the game and his work ethic should help propel him to the next level. Minico will lean heavily on Carson’s skills and abilities during their state runs in the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171735" first="Cooper" last="Fife"], Wood River: Fife is a tough point guard who gets the job done on offense and defense. He plays with never-ending energy and always competes his hardest. Cooper is willing to guard any player on the opposing team and he does not back down against anyone.
